Hello friends!
We are back after too many days of no activity. Forgive us, it's been a crazy couple of weeks... but, we have developed so much quality content that we cannot wait to share with you. Starting with this post.
Last weekend we met with some friends who share our passion about Porsche and went for a daytrip around the Catalan Pyrenees, more specifically the Solsonès and Alt Urgell counties. As you probably know already, we have a house in the Alt Urgell area so we often drive around this zone for fun.
The area is spectacular, with leafy forests, beautiful valleys and tiny rural villages.
We started our route in the Basella Motorcycle Museum and drove towards Port del Comte, going through Solsona, Sant Llorenç de Morunys, Tuixent and La Vansa.
These territories are known for their medicinal herbs, mushrooms and delicious meats and cheese. Craftsmanship is preserved and celebrated everywhere you go.
After doing a pit stop in Port del Comte, we proceeded to go to Cambrils for lunch.
We ate at Ca l'Agustí, a restaurant that blew our minds. There, you have a three-course menu with bread, wine, coffee and drinks for just 15,5€, something unimaginable anywhere else in Spain. The best thing is that portions are big and the quality is really high. They offer local products such as homegrown vegetables, Bufet potatoes, aka Trumfos del Pirineu aka the best potatoes EVER, or quarry from the local forests. Everything was delicious, and we left feeling satisfied and happy.
After lunch, we headed towards the Coll de Nargó village, where we ended our route and said goodbye.
These roads are absolutely stunning and there's almost no one, which makes for an even more fun and safe drive.
We recommend you stop and walk around the villages if you have time, they are hidden gems that deserve a quick visit.
Excellent trip
