Hello everyone, welcome.
How are you all? I hope it is in as good a condition as the bright sunshine today. Some time ago, I got the opportunity to go on an adventure to the island of Java. This island is very large, consisting of several areas connected by trains. From the capital of Indonesia to the tip of the island of Java you can explore. This island is very special.
But it's not as special as the Yogyakarta area. This area is called a special area because it is very special compared to other areas. This city has many events. One of them is a building which is a UNESCO heritage site, Prambanan Temple.
This temple existed before this country. It has existed for several centuries, and this is the largest Hindu Buddhist temple in Indonesia. How majestic and big the temple is behind the photo I took that afternoon. I arrived at the right time, when the sun was about to set. Many people say that it is a very good time to see the temple in the violet twilight.
The entry process is very easy by buying a ticket at the counter and you will get a bracelet or receipt which can be accessed and scanned at the entrance. It's quite a long journey from the entrance to the temple building. Around 1-2km on foot. The vast land and temple buildings do not look like they were made by human hands.
There are many stories about the construction of Prambanan temple. Likewise with the history of its formation. This is related to the gods Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, and also the Sanjaya Dynasty and the Syailendra Dynasty. For complete details, you can find out the history in many books and media.
Unfortunately, much of this temple has been damaged due to the eruption of Mount Merapi which resulted in the stones that make up this temple collapsing and cannot be repaired. However, there are several buildings that are starting to be repaired to strengthen the structure of the building.
The remaining buildings are used for prayers for Hindu and Buddhist religions around the world. This is what makes Prambanan Temple always special. There was great enthusiasm from foreign tourists and local residents alike. There is something that attracts attention in this temple building, namely the many reliefs that have a 'soul' that lives here.
Not just an ordinary building, the Prambanan temple is very lively and full of magical power. Even when I was at Prambanan temple that afternoon, I felt a strong, complex energy. This is not like human intervention, but rather energy other than humans.
One of them is this building, the money is still very strong and sturdy, it hasn't collapsed in the slightest like some other buildings. There is a stone relief that forms the face of a demigod. There are many relief statues in the main temple. This complex has many temples consisting of 3 trimurti temples, 3 ride temples, 2 apit temples and several other temples that are no longer functioning properly and are even destroyed, only rocks are left scattered around the temple grounds.
As a result, there are several temples that are not functioning and cannot even be entered by visitors. It would be very dangerous if it collapsed or was disturbed by vibrations from movement and the sound of footsteps. This is intended for mutual security and also to protect and preserve the temple building which is a natural heritage.
That same afternoon I still saw several people praying and also carrying out small rituals. The atmosphere that afternoon also sounded very calm with faint music playing for prayers being said. Even though the sun is still very hot, because the sun is starting to fade, there are parts of the temple that can block the heat of the sun.
