The challenges that comes with living in a third world country is that you can’t travel to everywhere you wish(Europe and United States and Canada), unless you have a reliable/notable means of income. So it will suffice to say that a lot of us do have a long bucket list of destination they want to visit, a few may complete, other may check one or two out, and for many it may only be a dream or destination seen in the movies.
So I had to re-invent a new bucket list. But before I share my bucket list, in my own opinion I think the Caribbean Islands are one of the most beautiful places on earth, and most are visa-free for Nigerian( Barbados, Dominca, Fiji, St kitts and Neves and more), however it cost an arm and a Leg to fly over there, and the way our account is setup, it takes about 5 working years to transfer from our checking account to our travel account.(Lmao, if you didn’t get that joke then get out of here).🤣🤣
Let’s take a look at my old bucket list and compare it with the new.
5.Tristan da Cunha
The Remotest Island in the world, I found out about the Island when I visited Capetown 2008. I did a research on what islands the Capetown Atlantic ocean lead to and Tristan d Cunha , Ascension , St. Helena Island were a few I found. One can only get to the Island with a boat, this very small inhabited Island is surrounded by an active volcanic mountain. It most likely will be the last place I visit just to have a feel of what it means to be in community or Island with only less than 300 people and experience the peace they must feel away from our busy world.
4.Iceland
I will love to see the glaciers and explore the Ice caves, not to forget the aurora borealis Northern Lights as well. I would not forget the hot spring for sure. Apart from all the exciting nature one can explore, I think the people are cool from the performance the soccer team pulled at the 2016 Euro.

3.Italy
So I love to explore different kind of foods and when I think Italy, I think of Pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and good wine (No offence to the Italians) and of cause the concept and culture of family we see in the movies of cause. And Venice is the destination for me in Italy.

2.The Bahamas
I like to call it the Island where God lives. I have loved the Bahamas from when I was a teenager, one of my biggest Mentor lived there (Dr Myles Munroe, GOd rest his soul). And thanks to a few James bond movies, what is not to love about the Bahamas.

1.Greece
As most of us know Greece is the home of the world’s philosophers and historians. In-fact most English words were derived from Greek and Latin words. So there’s no way I wasn’t going to make this number 1 on my list of travels, Plus have you seen Santorini? Talk of Ancient beauty in Architecture. Oh boy, oh boy. To think the Island was formed from a Volcanic eruption. Zakynthos beach is a must visit.
Conclusion
I hope I make my bucket list a reality soon and live the dream. In the meantime I have a re-written a much more quick- to- achieve bucket list, and I will share in my next story.
Peace..xoxoxo
