Thank you! Yes, the whole of the Yucatan peninsula has many places just like this. One more beautiful than the next. I know Cancun has stunning beaches too, I just could never see myself living in the chaos there haha. Plus, it's nice to be closer to the beach, rather than having to drive or take a bus or taxi.
Are you in El Salvador now? So the beaches there aren't pretty like here?
No, they were the opposite. Pacific ocean brings you large waves which is great for surf but is dark and merky water. Also volcanic sand is pitch black so it doesn't help making the ocean any brighter. There are areas with not so dark sand of course but it's not the case for the surf city beaches.
Yeah, it's the same in Acapulco and Rosarito too on that side of the country. But I heard that some places in Oaxaca do have the lovely blue waters. You wouldn't catch me swimming in those murky waters...I like to see what's there...
