None of these islands have the capacity to deal with an Italy like moment
But it may just work out, if it comes down to that, we end up with a younger and stronger population and there would be more opportunities for young people. Of course, this isn't nice to say but look at what is happening in Europe, people don't realize but the burden on pension funds and government social spending would be cut leaving money to spend on other things. My heart and comfort are with those who lost their lives. Holland has to be careful, as its densely populated, anything close to Italy and it could be really bad
Dude I totally understand what you are saying from that behalf. In the end in situations like this there is some survival of the fittest going on, and as harsh it is to say...there is no point in putting 85 year old people on a ventilator for weeks.
