in TravelFeed11 days ago (edited)

Near White/Georgia in the United States are the largest Graveyard of cars worldwide are hidden in a Forest - 4,200 Cars hand the rust never sleep...

Many have none, some have one, some families have two, and celebrities, managers, or politicians might even have several. Not to mention world stars like Elvis Presley, who owned a whole fleet of cars: great cars, big and small, old and new, all polished and ready to drive.

Rust never sleeps

Near White/Georgia the largest Graveyard of cars worldwide are hidden in a forest - a lot of old steel and on every surface where Rust never Sleeps, like Neil Young sings. And Walter Dean Lewis is the man who collected all these ruins of modern mobility.

His 40 hectares of picturesque forest in the North Georgia Foothills, very close to the town of Cartersville an hour outside of Atlanta, has cars of all models, in all states of repair, from all major manufacturers from the past 80 or 90 years.

Old Car City was originally founded in more than when Dean Lewis' take over the small general store of his parents and the scrap yard they had. A few years later he began to collect cars of every kind and he came up with the idea of converting it into a vintage car scrap yard and a huge space for his own handmade art - some of his pieces are made from plastic cups, you can see the strange things upstairs in his headquarter.
