I was tired of it. For a month I had been tired of seeing chaotic images of the island that gave me so much. Two cyclones passed in less than 30 days. The forests have become razed and black, the lagoon is a mud lake, houses are destroyed, mangroves are grilled, many baobab whose shown in the photograph below fell... I was tired and tonight I wanted to pretend as if nothing had happened, as if Mayotte is today as I left it in my memories. Here it is... |
