This article takes you today for a trip to Cape Verde on the island of San Antao. Cape Verde is made up of 10 main islands, and making a trip to each one is almost like visiting a new country every time. San Antao is mountainous. Valleys carved by erosion, vertiginous slopes, green walls and other deserts, it is a surprise at every turn and behind each ridge. The only thing that doesn’t surprise you once you get to know the country is the kindness of the people. While the Cape Verdeans are known to be welcoming from all over the country, the mountain seems to multiply this virtue, if possible. |

Yes Sal is really desertic. I think it's the older island of the archipelago. You went there?
Yeah, been there a couple years ago. Between diving and relaxing, I still had a great time, although I enjoy a little more green. :)
