Tuggerong parkrun, Canberra, ACT, Australia.

We got another new parkrun location for our collection on our recent trip to Canberra while visiting family. All three of the Canberra parkruns we have done so far have been well set up and draw large local crowds, we have another 6 to go to have done all 9.

I really liked the out and back course around the lake. It had water views the whole way, on a wide path with plenty of room for passing and overtaking. Not that I did much of that just jogging this one making sure not to injure my ankle again.

The lake walking circuit goes all the way around but the parkrun course only used half of it, if I was feeling a little fitter I would have done the rest of it straight afterwards or before.

Canberra is very cold in Winter but can also get very warm in summer, I bet this man made beach gets used a lot in the hotter months.

Maybe they have there own Loch Ness Monster? A nice viewing platform but I could only see a few water birds.
