These are a few photos from our Road Trip to Agawa Bay last summer to see the Pictographs near Lake Superior Provincial Park. This little spot was made famous by Canada’s Group of 7 artists who painted here back in the 1930’s. They have a monument erected here and several markers to indicate the spots where they painted from.
We did some fishing here, actually caught some small Perch. We also did a little panning for gold and some metal detecting since the area is known to have placer gold in its rivers. We Found none...
I also did a small 8 x 10 acrylic painting and will post below. It was not easy to paint here since the mosquitos were so bad.
This is my quick painting :
Even though it's a quick one I still like the painting very much!
Thanks .... I lost a lot of blood making that painting. But the mosquitos were very happy.
Neat painting ya cheeky art hiding bar-steward! I wish I could paint half as good! And that for a quickie!
Thanks.... I have to paint quickly or I lose interest.... especially when there is gold and pickerel hiding somewhere in that river.
great photos and i think very successful drawing. acrylic paint?.

Great painting! And I hear you about the mosquitos! I think the buzzing is just as annoying as the actual bite lol
Have do pretty much be completely covered up. It gets very warm.
