Hello, Hivers! It’s me again, Jera. Welcome to another adventure with me. Brace yourselves as I take you to my exploration😉.
It was just a random Saturday afternoon when I suddenly feel the excitement of going to a river. And bingo! I found a newly discovered river near us. Without any second thought, I pack some snacks, grab the motorcycle key and drove to the river.
As I was heading there, I feel that the air grew fresher each mile. The narrow roads that hugged the mountainside. I can’t contain the excitement that I feel.
Upon arriving to the Tonggo River which was located at the mountain side of Danao City, I was welcomed by the vibrant chorus of chirping birds and the rhythm of the flowing water from the river. Each step I make brought me closer to the heart of nature, where adventure awaited.
When I finally take a glimpse of the sparkling water from the Tonggo River. The river cradle by the rocky outcrops and lush greenery, shimmered invitingly under the afternoon sun. I feel like I teleport to another dimension- a tranquil sanctuary hidden from the chaos of everyday life.
I perched myself on a smooth rock, dipping my small feet (LOL) into the inviting water, allowing the gentle water to wash them. In that moment, time stood still. I could hear the rustling leaves overhead, the burbling of the river water, and the soft buzz of insects.
After being relaxed from the soothing force that came from the river, I decided to grab some snacks as I can hear my stomach growling😂. I brought some chips and soda. And oh, a little reminder for tourists who plan to visit the place, ALWAYS bring your trash with you. As a responsible tourist and individual, we should LEAVE NO TRACE.
As I was indulging, munching and enjoying my food, I just can’t take my eyes from the flowing river. I was truly amazed by its magical aura. I was not only satisfied with a full stomach, but my heart and eyes were also filled with joy from the beautiful view of the river.
As I prepare and packed up to head back home, soft breeze carried the sounds of nature towards me- a magical farewell from Tonggo River. The way back home felt kind of different; I was no longer just a visitor but an integral part of this vibrant ecosystem. I left more than just memories; I carried me a renewed sense of adventure, appreciation for the natural world, and a promise to return🤚.
The experience and the adventure I had in Tonggo River in the mountainous side of Sibacan, Danao City, was not just a simple journey within myself. It is an unforgettable journey that will always leave a very special mark in my mind and in my heart. It's like a little reminder to us that sometimes, the real treasures we seek are just hidden beyond the mountains, waiting for us to discover them. Now, if you ever find yourself wandering through Danao City, don’t miss the chance to visit this majestic paradise.
