Ios is another famous island located in the aegean sea near Paros, and Between the Islands of Naxos Sikinos and Thera. It was the first destinaton where i ever got to travel beyond the land of Greece, meaning of course it's islands, and i never regretted it.

Unlike Paros, wich has something for everyone, Ios is only destined for those who wish to party their souls out of their bodies. Chora, it's capital city, is full of bars,clubs,restaurants, and just as any other tourist destination, packed with hotels,spas, Villas and resorts. The only difficulty that me and my cousin encountered (with whom i went there on a last moment's notice) was that, there were not any available places to rent at that time so the only place we could find was located quite far outside Chora, named Far Out. Also make sure to pay a visit to the island's infamous Ios Bar Brawl as it gives you a chance to explore all of Ios' Bars, has a package wich inculed free drinks in all of the bars, and makes you happy drunk while you get to meet new people.😆😆😆

The buildings are scattered with the most of the land being untouched by human hands making it a naturally beatiful scenery, just as it is pictured by hollywood movies and commercials, even I, who has lived in Greece his whole life hadn't seen so much beauty shrinked in such a small place.

I didn't get to photograph as much as i wanted since my equipment was too heavy to carry around, but i would advise anyone who is considering of visiting to take a day of their vacation at Ios and dedicate to walking around the island as much as he can, so he can witness the stunning but yet astounding scenery of nature with a tat of human interference.

Last but not least, if you are planning on visiting Ios, you should definetely pay a visit to the Island's famous Pathos Club and Restaurant as it is considered, even by the local a must visit thanks to its beatiful sunset view from withing it's pool wich gazes strate to the horizon of sea.
I am considering myself as a lucky person that i decided that my first island would be Ios, it changed considerably my perspective as to wether i would ever visit islands ever in my life, as a person who adores cityscapes,buildings and busy lifes in general. I had a definitive blast and would definetely visit again again if the chance was given to me. Pay a visit as soon as your next summer if you haven't been there already !!
