As someone who as student debt for the second time in my life, once for my education and once for my children's education, I can only say that this would be an amazing opportunity towards economic equality. My concern is that the difficulty will come in the acceptance of this technology and verification. The industry of higher education is closely tied to government and banking (lending institutions). It worries me that this means that they have huge lobbying dollars to slow or pause this process. I see it working in some industries, like technology, but others like education, healthcare, financial services will be held captive by the old systems and their ties to the third parties that are profiting off of the issue of student debt.
