HIVE BUZZ is the gamification aspect of the HIVE Blog. It took some time, but I finally found a website that explains this feature. Your marine character is based on the number of VESTS you own, which is also the number in the banner below your character. “VESTS is the blockchain internal representation of your Hive Power.”
I am currently a Redfish, which means that I have a HIVE power below 1 million VESTS. There is so much information on this page (https://hive.blog/hivebuzz/@hivebuzz/hivebuzz-hive-gamification-experience (Links to an external site.) ) that I have been looking for. Did you know that if you are inactive for 30 or more days that you become a “dead-fish”?
Luckily, HIVE offers a “magic wand” that allows you to come back to life! This is extremely beneficial, as teachers in my community would possibly be inactive for 30 or more days, especially over summer break. I can see HIVEBUZZ as being motivating to the group I work with. They have a healthy competitive nature, are supportive, and have a good sense of humor!

working with you on projects in the past I definitely can tell you have a very healthy competitive and inquisitive nature. You always strive to grasp and go above and beyond to achieve whatever you go after. This post provided many examples of how much work you put into learning as much as you can about a subject. Great job!!
I appreciate your providing us with some insight into the esoteric inner-workings of HIVE Buzz. As I mentioned in this week's posts, I too remain a red fish at the moment, but am encouraged to know that I have the potential to move up the evolutionary scale. I can see where understanding the intricacies of HIVE and using it to boost morale and leverage some healthy competition could inspire a community of mathematical innovators.
