Hello, street art fans.
Here is my entry to CCC Street Art Contest round #130.
This mural was created in 2015 on the building of the sanitary epidemiological station at 19/22 Voloska Street, Kyiv. The picture shows a man in an embroidered shirt crossing a river with a deer.
The author of the work is the Australian street artist Fintan Magee. This is not the only work of a zoologist in Kyiv, but one of the first dedicated to the topic of saving the environment.
Also, the mural was created to draw attention to the opening of SamoSad Park, which is located behind the building. Previously, there was an ordinary wasteland, until it was decided to create a recreation area - public garden, creative space - on public grounds.
Samosad is Ukrainian words meaning self-seeding. But if you write it like SamoSad, these are 2 words now and translation is like self garden, like this.
Anyway, this tiny park has a great old tree. It's gorgeous 😍
In big cities like Kyiv, every tree that provides shade in the summer amidst this jungle of concrete and asphalt is valuable.
This is all. Thank you so much for a visit. Hope you enjoyed my photos.
Have a nice weekend!
