I have always wondered what it would be like to make a graffiti on the first of January at dawn I always thought of doing it in a distant city and this time I had the pleasure of enjoying a Christmas in the capital city of the state of Monagas with my family a little removed from our small town where we live and after giving us the Happy New Year I went out to make a graffiti having that excitement inside me as a little boy who was about to fulfill a dream.
Maybe it sounds a little overwhelming or maybe it sounds a little dramatic but the truth is that there are so many things as a kid that I always wanted to do and never had the chance and as we all know life is only one brother so we should take advantage of the time and do all those things that we like to do as long as they don't affect a second person.
Welcome to this weekly street art section.
Being today January 5th I can say that I already have more than a year of constant graffiti where I gave life to the small town where I live, through those vandal graffiti at midnight releasing emotions stress or some thoughts that often invade the mind let's say that the ordinary artist always has thoughts that leads them to seek a release a little beyond that stress and mental state of thoughts.
Currently with this digital era has normalized so many things so many disunity and has also normalized to see incredibly talented artists apply techniques and use materials of very good quality for absolutely incredible results but still detracts from the work of other artists which are not mediocre or untalented I know there are many cases where they try to keep a style, an essence and something unique. I feel that here I speak in something a little more general because what I like the most or what I enjoy the most is the emotion of making a graffiti is to start something and to be able to finish it, I believe that these are pleasures that every human being needs and I find it pleasant and satisfying to achieve this through graffiti.
And I apologize if I go on too long but I do feel that this for my inner child is a great achievement to do a graffiti on January 1st in the city if it was something that the child wanted to do as an adult I'm sure the emotion is the same but if it is a goal crossed off the list of what to do returning to the subject and reconnecting here with the community I hope you have received a great new year and that this year 2025 brings you all much more painting and much more streets to know and much more street art to enjoy.
- Returning to this first of January painting, here I share with you a little more detailed pictures of it;
This year I told myself that I was going to reduce a little bit the vandalism and let's say that marking walls sometimes without sense or just to mark the ground because I already feel a little bit of satisfaction since there in town it is more than clear that in many of the corners there is already a TACA and a name of many writings that I have done and the truth is that I can not oversaturate myself and get bored of this and I think it should be a good motivation to start doing something a little more artistic and expressive and show a little level beyond the letters, I think this graffiti captured the energy and vibe of the moment and that's why I think I say this about trying to find what motivates us because we already know that an art without passion is like a sun without a universe.
Very cool lettering, perfect spot. it's great to see that you can achieve some of your goals, always satisfying. Thanks for sharing your work on The StreetArt Community.
