More big stuff, Mostly round the custard factory Digbeth

in StreetArt2 years ago

I haven't counted how many uploads I have done for this area of Birmingham. The area just keeps on giving. And one should never bite the hand that delivers such stunning art work.

There must be meaning to this, can't work it out......

This I can. not a fan, but my grand kids keep me up to speed!!

this was the inside of a pub beer garden, couldn't get in to get a proper shop, so have cropped in to catch the covey.

A couple of heads from under the railway arches.

Wide shot of one of the big walls in the "custard factory", built in the early 20thC to make the yummy scrummy Bird's Custard, (pour in generously over rhubarb crumble and join me in Nirvana).

It is good that this mural is behind 7ft palisade fencing, stops morons defacing it.

The old factory is in the background.

Spongebob looks a bit pissed off with something

The 3D effect of the fingers is just unreal!! yes?

_DSC0185.jpeg

Can't work out if the scrawling is genuine or part of the mural, whatever, it works well!!

A couple of big ones from under the railway arches, yellow is the colour of choice, and it is quite effective.

"We are the 1 in 10, a number on a list", if you know , you know. This was where the band UB40 formed and the premises were their recording studio for many years.

That's all folks, I shall dig the rest out of the camera soon.

Oh damn. Those are awesome finds. Painting the tower on the old factory is a neat idea. I've never seen that before.

cheers @leaky20 , gotta have a head for heights too

Nah Custard came in a yellow box that said Custard, irony after reading your content that night watched a bit of Destination Adventures, there stood a box of Birds Custard in an ancient store in Canada !LOLZ twice in one day, whats doing with that!

I told my doctor that I broke my arm in two places.
He told me to stop going to those places.

Great selection of Street Art 👍 The first mural looks a lot like Phlegm's work with, it is true, a rather strange universe (but I like it a lot). There is a mural of his hand near my home in Montreal. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.

CHEERS @heroldius for the background info.

First one is amazing. Absolutely love that style

Oh wow! Such great shots - thanks for sharing, @grindle - you've got an eye for detail...
