The dadaesque beauty of street art: Berlin , my entry for CCC’s street art competition #40

Some of the street art in the Hackescher Markt area of this wonderful city.

I followed Dirkenstrasse, from Alexandraplatz, on my way to get my supper at a well recommended burger bar, I wasn’t expecting to see such beauty.

It was an eclectic mix of painting, stickers and posters, this is street art in its most raw. No corporate sponsored “touristic” stuff here.

I wish I knew who Lisa is, I’d tell her to go organic, farm fresh, shun the battery farms.

Stunning faded images “it’s time to dance”, images that conjure up the avid raves of the 80’s and 90’s

Not just 2 dimensional art to enjoy.

Some fantastic political statements on posters, can’t disagree with the sentiments.

And yes I can report back thst the burger was outstanding as were the fries and the lager beer

Wow, these are amazing street artwork. I find some kind of rebel vibe. I also found these types of street art when I visited George Town in Malaysia 🇲🇾.

in berlin you can find lot´s of awesome art in the public space. have you visited also the teufelsberg?

I was going to visit, but ran out of time, I did visit the zombie hospital in weinessee and quite a few off the radar places
I am going to try and get back in September I still have a shed load of Urbex to do there
