CCC's Street Art Contest #211 / Concurso de Arte Urbano #211 [Eng-Esp]

in StreetArt3 months ago

Hello, this time I show some graffiti of an artist about whom I have already made some previous publication. This is Rudiart, an artist established in Alicante (Spain). His real name is Rubén Hernández (Rudi) and he has more than 30 years of experience creating graffiti in different parts of the world. Rudi is known for his vibrant and colorful style that often incorporates elements of local culture and social messages.

In Alicante he has become lord and master, with the permission of the neighborhood, of course, of the Campoamor neighborhood. There are many walls in that neighborhood adorned with his graffiti. These works are in Dámaso Abad street.

Expanding a little information about the artist and reading an interview they did with him, I discovered that there is a National Graffiti League in Spain. This year, at the moment, he is in 3rd position. He won the 2022 competition.

From what Rudiart himself says in the interview about how the league competition works: “It's like the national soccer league, the director chooses the fifty best in Spain and photos are submitted every weekend. There are judges, and the public also votes via Facebook and Instagram and points are awarded. There is a ranking, the top 10 are the ones that go to events organized by institutions or municipalities”.

Español

Hola.

As I said in the Weekly StreetArt, always cool to see different works done by the same artist especially when there is talent. I really like the first work with detached elements. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.

Have a great day

There are works of his all over the neighborhood. It is impossible to pass through the neighborhood and not see one of them.
