This first picture was a trap because today I'm not going to talk about the lettering done by Riok on this garage door but about the head drawn a little bit higher on the wall of this house. This isn't Street Art as I usually post but more graffiti (if we can make a distinction between the two) with the tags of Bons easily recognizable with this head not often happy.

WHO
Bons
As you can imagine, not much information about this artist. As I don't think he asks the owner of the wall or the door for permission to do his tag, I understand Bons discretion.
Bons at Square Saint Louis, not in great shape and with drool.😀
I thought this was a good example to talk about the Street Art vs Graffiti battle. We like to see beautiful murals on the walls of our city. But there is also a darker side with tags done at night very quickly to avoid being caught. There are often ugly but sometimes tags stand out. What would you do if you had this head on the wall of your house? For me, if it's in the alley side, I think I would keep it. Especially since for Bons I've never seen his funny character another artist's work. The debate is launched, I await your comments 😀.

Have a great day... .. On Montreal, we take advantage of it, it's hot.
I don't think this is Bons but there is the same anger on this character.
I like the second head best, on the door in the alley. Seems a little more like old monster movie - less angry. I would be inclined to leave any of this "graffiti" in place if it was in the alley. I don't think removing it would discourage more graffiti later anyway haha
It's true on the second pic, it looks like a portrait of Frankenstein.
Yep me too in the alley, it's cool and you can after recognize your door 😀

Thanks
You are so right. The graffiti is often not so pretty… and done without permission. Some can be pretty cool though.
If it was a side of the house I leave it and would add next to it myself. Hahaha 😁 change the entire side to a work of art. And do it in stages, so other “artists” see it and will add more too. Could be a fun experiment I think 😎🤩Great post @heroldius
If it is on the front of a house you care for I would remove it after a while. Sorry.
If it would be a true masterpiece… hhhmmm need to think hard about that. Or I do the same as the side wall. 😊
Yep if the tag is on your front door, I have to remove too... But in the alley why not. And as you said, you can improve it and have an artistic conversation by interposed tag. Interesting idea.
Yes, I so will keep it in mind when it would happen. And if our new home is perfect for it, why not start that conversation 😉
I don’t know exactly where we move too, but I know it will be before the end of the year. It is delayed again… paperwork.
