We're continuing to discover the StreetArt produced in Lyon, a city where art hangs on every wall, especially in the Croix-Rousse district. After a few murals and collages, today I'm going to tell you about some works in ceramic, plaster or cardboard, glued directly onto walls, like this pinguoin by Zorm. It's amazing all the forms StreetArt can take.

Après quelques murales, des collages, aujourd'hui je vais vous parler de quelques oeuvres en céramique, en platre ou carton, collées directement sur les murs comme ce pinguoin de Zorm. C'est incroyable toutes les formes que peut prendre le StreetArt.

Most of Zorm's work can be found in Lyon's Croix-Rousse district. But I'm sure they're all over the city. The penguin is in the Grande Montée.
La plupart des oeuvres de Zorm se trouve dans le quartier de la Croix-Rousse à Lyon. Mais je suis sûr qu'il y en a un peu partout en ville. Le pingouin est dans la Grande Montée.

Zorm
Trained in stone carving, Zorm is a Lyon artist renowned for the little monkey heads he sticks all over the city. They can also be found in other French cities. The little man in his slipper is also his work (see Street Art Contest #236 the same two characters, always cool to find the artist's name, even after the fact* 😀). On this photo 🔽, there was a bear head facing the monkey. But it disappeared 😢.
Formé à la taille de pierre, Zorm est un artiste lyonnais reconnu pour ses petites têtes de singe qu'il colle un peu partout dans la ville. On les retrouve aussi dans d'autres villes de France. Le petit bonhomme dans sa pantoufle est aussi son oeuvre (voir Street Art Contest #236 les deux mêmes personnages, toujours cool de trouver le nom de l'artiste, même après coup 😀). Sur cette photo 🔽, il y avait une tête d'ours qui faisait face au singe. Mais il a disparu.
Line Street
These little earthworms with big eyes (so cute) are the work of Line Street. A French artist in his thirties, he got into the art world at a very early age thanks to his parents. His concept is to put paintings on the street for people to take, then when they don't want them anymore, put them back on the street. For him, “The street is my greatest inspiration, it's evolving, changing and exudes so much strength and freedom.” (source: line-street.com). I couldn't agree more.
Ces petits vers de terre aux gros yeux sont l'oeuvre de Line Street., artiste français agé d'une trentaine d'année, très tôt dans le monde de l'art grâce à ses parents. Son concept est de déposer des tableaux dans la rue pour que les gens les prennent, puis quand ils ne veulent plus l'avoir, le dépose de nouveaux dans la rue. Pour lui : "La rue est ma plus grande inspiration, elle est évolutive, changeante et dégage tellement de force et de liberté." (source : line-street.com). Je suis tout à fait d'accord avec lui.

A preference today ? I like the little skull and crossbones, especially as the style rings a bell. But for the moment, my memory is failing me.
