We're still in Lyon, France. I think I've presented all the mediums in which StreetArt expresses itself: murals, paste-ups, scultpures... Today, it's all about the works painted on the shutters that close the stores for the night. These doors can be quite boring, all grey, fortunately there are talented artists like Koik Tendiz who populate them with colorful monsters.
Nous sommes toujours à Lyon en France. Je pense que j'ai présenté tous les médiums où le StreetArt s'exprime : murales, collages, scultpures... Aujourd'hui, il s'agit des oeuvres peintes sur les rideaux métalliques qui ferment les magasins pour la nuit. Cela peut être assez banal sans le talent des artistes, comme celui de Koik Tendiz qui les peuplent de monstres colorés.

The works of Koik Tendiz are mostly to be found in downtown Lyon. Stores take advantage of his talent to decorate their metal curtains, much better with a little color.
Les oeuvres de Koik Tendiz se trouvent plutôt au centre ville de Lyon. Les magasins profitent de son talent pour décorer leurs rideaux métalliques, largement mieux avec un peu de couleurs.

Koik Tendiz
Little is known about Koik Tendiz, an artist from Lyon. But if you take a walk around town, especially early in the morning when the stores are closed, you'll see his colorful monsters everywhere, always with a color palette ranging from yellow to purple.
Peu d'informations sur Koik Tendiz artiste lyonnais. Mais en parcourant la ville surtout tôt le matin quand les magasins sont fermés, on aperçoit un peu partout ses oeuvres avec ses monstres colorés, toujours avec une palette de couleurs qui va du jaune au violet.
The photo is a bit blurry, as my lens was already starting to show signs of weakness. Sometimes, I'd get a blurry photo. I hadn't yet got into the habit of checking the photo before continuing on my walk.
La photo est un peu floue, mon objectif commençait déjà à donner des signes de faiblesses. De temps en temps, j'avais le droit à une photo floue. Je n'avais pas encore pris l'habitude de vérifier la photo prise avant de continuer mon chemin.
During my visit to Lyon in 2022, I had already seen some of these monsters, like this one in the middle of the shopping district on Rue de la République. / FR : Lors de mon passage en 2022 à Lyon, j'avais déjà pu observer quelques uns de ses monstres comme celui la en plein quartier commerçant sur la rue de la République.
A lot of metal curtains are painted, like this Snoopy quietly leaning against the wall admiring some lettering. Too bad, unknown artist, I couldn't decipher the signature.
Il y a beaucoup de rideaux métalliques qui sont peints comme ce Snoopy tranquillement appuyé contre le mur admirant un lettrage. Dommage, artiste inconnu, je ne suis pas arrivé à déchiffrer la signature.
In 2023, I had already talked about this door with the work of Cobalt aka Vincent Leclère. I think his work was done a few years ago for Red Bull. It must have been crossed over the years, so he decided to do his lettering over it.
En 2023, j'avais déjà parlé de cette porte avec l'oeuvre de Cobalt aka Vincent Leclère. Je pense que son oeuvre réalisée il y a quelques années pour Red Bull. Elle a dû tagguée au cours des années, alors il a décidé de faire son lettrage par dessus.
I didn't need to talk about stickers to be complete. But during my few days in Lyon, I didn't concentrate too much on this type of artwork. Only 2 😕, that will be for a future stay.
Il me manquait de parler d'autocollants pour être complet. Mais pendant mes quelques jours à Lyon, je ne me suis pas trop concentré sur ce type d'oeuvres. Seulement 2 😕, cela sera pour un prochain séjour.
