Hello friends! This post is part of the Street Art Contest# 46, and you can find the link at the end of the post if you want to join!
Balam means jaguar in Mayan, and I write the post title in Mayan because this picture was taken in Costa Rica, in a little town which I don't remember the name as I visited that South American country in 2013.
The cool thing of this graffiti is the creativity, because the quality is normal and the style could be considered mundane, although one can't deny the quality of the background which is something hard to achieve.
I mention it's a Jaguar totem because of the body of the Balam, which resembles something you would buy on a gift shop instead of something you would find in the middle of the jungle.
I liked it because of this, the artist doesn't try to make it realistic, she tries to make a mural in her own way, style and putting her mind and soul into it.
Very colorful mural and I like the Jaguar style... Thanks for sharing this pic on The StreetArt Community.
Simple but cool work
