Greetings, friends of Hive. I'm back once again in my special community, where my best energies flow, sharing and writing. Once again, I present a small piece of urban art, this one with a profound feminine meaning, and it's certainly impossible not to appreciate it. So, I hope you enjoy this explosion of colors and faces.

AMAPOLAS "poppies" is a group of girls who joined together and created a collective to create artistic moments on the walls of Medellín's streets. Women creating feminine spaces—a beautiful moment, so this colorful work is worth observing. I was lucky enough to witness the creative process, so I didn't hesitate to capture some images before this magnificent creation.

When I look at the components of this urban art, I realize its very well-intentioned projection, that is, it is an academically structured art. These are not just women in this art, but a group of women who have shaped the artistic and political history of Colombia. So, those who are able to understand and recognize these faces will undoubtedly feel the great message of tireless love, struggle, independence, and hard social work, in a society as adverse as Colombia's. I am so pleased to show a glimpse of the meaning of this work.

A very colorful, large work with a powerful message about not forgetting... those great women who sacrificed so much in their lives to justify so many struggles. I loved the purpose of this piece; I can truly say it's enchanting. Perhaps the coloring is something that interrupts the work's clarity, but it's a true Eden of happy, creative women, with a welcoming and demonstrative technique. If the intention was to not go unnoticed, they achieved it on a grand scale. Standing there and observing this mural is like looking into a garden, full of female friends and family members having a good time; it inspires love, so success, ladies.

I loved the details of the garden, and that snake makes me understand that not all that glitters is gold. So there are good and beautiful women, but beware, they are also fierce, and they make that very clear. There's something about the coloring of the details, and overall, despite being very colorful, there's a general hue that envelops the entire work. That orange gives me the impression of frozen time. I don't know if it was a good idea, and I'm not correcting the work—I couldn't—but I do feel a responsibility to express my feelings, because that's what art is for: to enliven our minds and spirits.

This little project has been quite satisfying; it's led me to read several biographies of the women the group portrays, and it's taught me a lot. I hope you enjoyed this short piece. Thank you always for your support, and good luck with all this week's projects! Best of luck!
