Hello to all the pizza lovers 🍕👋🏽. Today, once again, thanks to the amazing initiative that @hivetrending offers us every month, I’d like to introduce you to a Hiver I consider truly "exemplary."
Elvira (@elviguitarra) is a wonderful and talented Cuban 🇨🇺 whom I had the pleasure of meeting thanks to Mailin (@maylink) (my nominee last year for November). However, she later told me that she didn’t arrive here through Mailin but rather thanks to her husband and writer, Abel (@abelarte), who encouraged her to join this incredible ecosystem.
What captivated her the most was the freedom to share everything she wanted to express, especially in communities that provide a welcoming space for topics she’s passionate about. It also gave her the chance to meet and connect with people from all over the world, regardless of distance. 🌎
One of Elvira’s greatest passions—and also her profession—is the guitar (although she has a second love too). For her, this instrument is the centerpiece of her days…
A fun fact: she also loves starting her mornings with an aromatic cup of coffee, a staple of Cuban culture. ☕
So, after enjoying her coffee, Elvira gets ready for the day with one goal in mind: "leading by example." Since she is both a teacher and a concert guitarist (though I’ll be revealing many more of her talents later), her work often takes her to different provinces. One thing I love about her is that she is always focused on learning something new every day, not just for herself but also for her two wonderful children, who are also studying guitar at EPA El Cucalambé. 🎶
She has mentioned that there have been times when she’s had to take a break, but these pauses have only helped her come back stronger and more determined to achieve her goals. She also credits her family and friends for being a source of motivation and support during those times.

Elvira is the director of the Sultasto Guitar Quartet, the assistant director of the Isaac Nicola Guitar Orchestra, the president of the music branch of UNEAC in Las Tunas, and the head of the guitar department and professor at the Professional Art School (EPA) El Cucalambé. 🎭…

She regularly delivers beautiful performances, including the Concerto in D Major by Antonio Vivaldi, arranged for guitar orchestra by maestro Jesús Ortega.

Her second great love is literature (which also motivated her to join this amazing ecosystem). To her, it’s a powerful tool for expression and "mutual learning." Through writing, she not only participates in different weekly "prompts" to share her thoughts and perspectives, but it has also allowed her to gain recognition from the communities where her content is featured. 👏🏻👏🏼👏🏽
I also love how her posts always encourage personal reflection with a strong artistic touch (like the one she shared last Saturday for Women’s Day).

And even though Elvira is passionate about literature, like most of us, she has her "favorites." Among them: all the books by José Martí, Nicolás Guillén, and Gabriel García Márquez. However, the first two are the ones she reads most frequently, and she has even relied on them for her doctoral thesis. 📚
🧀 When it comes to pizza, any kind with ham and "lots of cheese" is a win for her. She also enjoys ones with "onion and bell pepper," but her main requirement is always “lots of cheese.”

She also mentioned that both she and her kids love enjoying a good pizza together. 🙌🏽
Before, Elvira and her family used to go out to eat pizza at their local pizzerias, but nowadays, they prefer buying them nearby and customizing them at home… making them "their own way."
Another fun fact: this year, Diego (one of her wonderful children) finally got to try a flavor he had been wanting for a long time—pizza with cheese, ground beef, pineapple, and veggies. 😍 (As you can see, they have a family goal of experimenting with flavors to discover new combinations). ✨
There’s also something else Elvira enjoys, but with "some exceptions," since she doesn’t consider herself a huge fan:
Video games 🎮. Personally, she prefers mobile games (which she plays to relax), particularly puzzles 🧩 and other peaceful games.
However, the ones she absolutely does not enjoy are war-themed games where characters or animals are harmed (she strongly dislikes violence 🔥). That said, she admits that her kids do enjoy those kinds of games (life’s little ironies, haha).

Of course, this is just a small glimpse of everything I’ve learned about her—Elvira is a woman with countless stories to share. She also told me she’s really excited to share them here on Hive 🐝, and I have no doubt that her presence in this ecosystem will be of great value and a source of daily learning for the community.

Saludos a todos los pizza lovers 🍕👋🏽. Hoy nuevamente y gracias a la gran iniciativa que @hivetrending nos ofrece cada mes, deseo presentarles a una Hiver que considero "ejemplar".
Elvira (@elviguitarra) es una hermosa y talentosa cubana que pude conocer gracias a Mailin (@maylink) (mi nominada del año pasado para el mes de noviembre). Sin embargo, ella me hizo saber que no llegó aquí gracias a Mailin, sino gracias a su esposo y escritor Abel (@abelarte), quien la motivó a formar parte de este gran ecosistema.
A ella principalmente le encantó la idea de poder compartir todo lo que desee expresar, sobre todo porque podía hacerlo en comunidades que diariamente ofrecen ese espacio amigable a temas de su interés, donde también puede conocer a muchas personas y conectar con ellas sin importar las distancias. 🌎
Una de las mayores pasiones y profesiones de Elvira es la guitarra (aunque también posee un segundo amor). Para ella este instrumento es el protagonista de sus días...
Un dato delicioso es que también le encanta iniciarlos con una aromática taza de café (una bebida muy tradicional de la cultura cubana). ☕
Así que luego de tomarse su buena taza de café, Elvira siempre se prepara para su jornada con un único propósito: "enseñar con el ejemplo". Y como también es maestra y concertista (aunque más abajo les iré revelando muchas más facetas que mi hermosa y talentosa amiga posee), su trabajo constantemente la hace viajar a Provincia. Algo que me encanta de ella es que cada día se enfoca en que tanto ella como sus dos (2) hermosos hijos (que también estudian guitarra en la EPA El Cucalambé), puedan aprender algo nuevo. 🎶
Y aunque también ella así lo ha expresado, "ha habido momentos" en los que se ha tomado períodos de pausa, sin embargo, estos les han permitido volver con más fuerza para seguir alcanzando objetivos (esa fuerza también se la agradece a sus familiares/amistades que la han motivado y han estado allí para ella).

Su segundo amor es la literatura (uno que también la motivó a formar parte de este gran ecosistema). Para ella es una gran herramienta de expresión y "retroalimentación". Porque gracias a la escritura, más allá de poder participar en diferentes "prompts" semanalmente para expresar su sentir y perspectivas, es esta misma herramienta la que le ha permitido ser reconocida por los miembros de las comunidades donde su contenido hace presencia. 👏🏻👏🏼👏🏽
Me encanta también que en sus publicaciones siempre busca generar esa reflexión personal con un enfoque bastante artístico (como la que nos pudo compartir el pasado sábado en el día de la mujer).

Y aunque Elvira es amante de la literatura, como la mayoría de nosotros, tiene "sus favoritos". También me comentó que tanto sus hijos como ella tienen días en los que eligen disfrutar de una buena pizza. 🙌🏽
Antes, Elvira y su familia solían ir a comer pizza en las pizzerías de su pueblo, sin embargo, ahora prefieren comprarlas cerca de donde viven para así mejorarlas en casa... Para hacerlas "a su modo".
Otro dato curioso es que Diego (uno de sus hermosos hijos), este año pudo probar por primera vez un sabor que tenía tiempo deseando disfrutar: la pizza de queso, picadillo de res, piña y vegetales 😍 (como pueden ver, poseen una meta familiar en donde siempre están experimentando sabores para descubrir nuevas combinaciones).✨
Aunque también hay algo más que a Elvira le gusta, pero "con sus excepciones", ya que no se considera muy fanática de ellos:
Los videojuegos 🎮. En lo personal, le gustan los que se pueden jugar desde su celular (que generalmente juega para relajarse), como los que son de puzzle 🧩 y juegos que sean tranquilos.

Y los juegos que no le gustan "para nada" son los que tienen temáticas de guerra, en donde se acaba con personas o animales (porque no le gusta para nada la violencia 🔥), sin embargo, me confiesa que a sus hijos si les gustan (ironías de la vida jaja). Aunque esto es solo “un poco” de lo que he podido conocer de ella, porque es una mujer que posee muchísimas experiencias por contar y también me hizo saber que está muy emocionada de poderlas compartir aquí en Hive 🐝, así que estoy segura de que su presencia en este ecosistema será de gran valor y aprendizaje diario para la comunidad.
