In my last post, I talked about hunting a deer that led me to a mining site where I met David who seemed like a good guy at first sight and he was being so nice to Ellie. When Ellie was waiting for the other guy to come back with the antibiotics, they faced a messy fight there.
David suggested they'd take shelter from the cold as his man would be gone for a while. Ellie made him take the deer with them and then David was trying to know who was sick that Ellie asked the antibiotics for but the girl was not a fool to tell everything to a stranger.
Suddenly they heard noise of someone running to them and there came a clicker. Ellie made a noise setting her foot on the deer and the clicker was running to her.
David shot the clicker down using his handgun that surprised Ellie as she thought David didn't have any more weapons with him.
Hearing the gunshot, a bunch of runners and clickers were running towards them. David asked his rifle back but Ellie kept it saying David has his pistol. I started shooting the runners through the open windows.
When I was busy shooting the runners that were running outside, suddenly I noticed some runners barged inside and started attacking me. You can see above how David was running towards the runners to save the girl.
Now they started blocking the open windows that the runners were using to get inside but a clicker attacked Ellie when I was helping David to block the window and David saved her again.
We started holding off the monsters but they were breaking the wooden blocks on the windows and they were coming inside. But those monsters kept coming so we decided to get out of this room first.
David kicked open a door and I started following him. There were more runners behind us that we shot down while running away but suddenly I fell from that platform and got separated from David.
Now this room was full of clickers so David asked me to get out of here and he went somewhere. I had enough arrows so I started taking down the clickers shooting them arrows and it was quietest way for now.
I could just avoid some clickers and move forward but I didn't want to leave them behind so they can come to us later so I started taking all of them down one by one and I even had to distract them throwing bottles and other things.
And When I jumped on the platform above, a clicker was running towards me hearing the noise where it could be hard for me to take care but there came David and he shot down the clicker. Now we needed to get up on anther platform.

Totally understandable. The designs are definitely meant to be unsettling and it's all part of the experience.
