You might get confused about the title so I'm talking about that first. You remember me finding David and fighting alongside him when there came a bunch of clickers and runners? Yes, the title is about him. Is he a friend or an enemy? We'll know about that if we read this post, so let's do that.
When we needed a way to get up on a platform, David noticed a ladder that could work but it was on another platform so Ellie asked David to boost her up so she can bring the ladder down.
I found some clickers on the platform and some below me that I took down shooting arrows.
Then I reached to the ladder and I threw it below for David to use it to climb up on the other platform. I jumped off and climbed the ladder to get to the other platform as David was walking away.
This was a bridge that connects one shade to another and when I was walking on it, I was worrying that I might fall down through a crack somewhere and get in trouble so I was going slow there but nothing that sorta happened there fortunately.
Now we reached this room where we found some dead bodies and it looked like the runners or the clickers got them down. When I was hearing the scary screaming of the runners around, I kept looting anything I could there.
We looked for way to get out of that place but it looked like a dead end and suddenly we noticed there were some runners running toward us so we got ready. There came about two dozens of them includes some clickers and we took all of them down.
And suddenly there came a bloater. Man, a bloater that even Joel can't kill easily and now Ellie had to take care of it. I kept shooting it when there were more runners disturbing the fight.
And I at last shot down the bloater and the body fell right beside those other bodies.
They didn't notice anymore infected runners or clickers around so they headed back to check on the buck. David started having a conversation with Ellie and he was saying he sent a group of men out nearby town to look for food.
He mentioned that only a few came back when the others has been slaughtered by a crazy man and this crazy man was travelling with a little girl.
Ellie understood David was talking about them and he's one of the hunters. Ellie kept David in gunpoint and that's when the other man targeted Ellie with his gun though David let Ellie leave taking the antibiotics.
Ellie left the place fast and rode the horse to somewhere, to this place in the middle of the woods where she probably left Joel.
Yes there Joel is who was clinging to life. Ellie used the antibiotics on him and then she slept beside Joel. So, now about the question in the title. Yes, David is an enemy for sure.
