Into the Spooky Zone.

Riley found a special place in a shopping mall that she thought might enlighten Ellie's mind and maybe she'll get her friend back after what she's done. And it looked like a spooky zone that Riley was trying to show Ellie where they had much fun.

So, before going into the hole, I stopped to take a photo of this place as I don't know whether I'd get this opportunity later or not.

When I was busy taking the photo above, Riley was waiting for me to help her lifting the iron rod that was holding the blocks. When Ellie was mentioning hating to crawl under there as she feels they'd get crushed, suddenly it fell down and the route was totally blocked now.

We had to find another way in and I found a door but it was locked from the other side. As there was an opening right above the door, Ellie gave Riley a boost so she can unlock it from the inside.

Riley went silent after getting to the other side and suddenly the door was unlocked but it was not opened. I opened it and noticed a creepy statue ahead and suddenly Riley tried to scare Ellie wearing a creepy mask.

Riley said she got the perfect mask for me and asked me to follow her and its a wolf mask. After putting the mask on, Riley asked Ellie to roar so she was roaring but it was like saying "roar". Then I helped her roaring perfectly this time.

Riley wanted to see what else this place has so she started her discovery when I went close to this creepy statue to scare it off wearing the wolf mask.

So this looked like a store for Halloween items where I found these eyeballs in a jar. Ellie got surprised that peoples used to buy this stuff.

Suddenly a mummy came out of a coffin and it looked like that's actually Riley who hid inside the coffin wearing a zombie mask to scare Ellie where Ellie didn't get scared but I was a little scared to be honest.

I changed the mask and wore this mask of a witch now and then Ellie started her act as a witch where she did good and Riley acted being scared.

Then I found this skeleton where I could ask the Skeleseer a question and shake it to know my fortune. Now I started interacting with it and Ellie started asking random questions and was seeking for answer turning the skeleton. I tried it till I couldn't try it, lol.

I changed the mask into a pigeon mask now and noticed Riley came over wearing a new one and asked Ellie how it is.

Then I opened a big door and went to the center of the mall and we found two brand new cars on the ground that probably were there for lottery or something.

Riley got an idea for some more fun. She suggested we'd throw bricks on the car windows and whoever breaks all the windows to their cars first, wins when I got the red car and Ellie got the blue car.

There were enough bricks around and yeah, Riley couldn't beat me there.

I won and I got to ask her a question which was the prize for the winner and I got four options for the question, I went for the third one.

Ellie asked if Marlene mentions her mom and Riley said not much but she gathered that they were friends before the outbreak and that her mother was a nurse.

Now Riley made me follow her to this power room and told me the whole city has power, we just needed to flip the circuit breakers and it worked with this mall. Then we went to check what else was there waiting for us and I was taken to the other story where I going for the military helicopter to look for a med kit so I can patch Joel up.

We'll check what happens next in another post and that'd be the end of the concept.
