We reached the Capitol Building hoping we'll deliver Ellie to the firefly and we get what we needs but things got messy there as the firefly peoples were not alive when we were there, Tess got infected and soldiers went looking for us there. And we had a great fight there in the Capitol Building with the soldiers.
Leaving Tess behind, we ran deeper in the Capitol Building and after looting some things from there, I noticed this sculp that was made in order to honor the army nurses who probably came handy in a war or something.
When we were going upstairs to look for a way to get out of here, we heard gunshots and soldiers shouting but no sound of Tess which says she got shot already and we noticed the body of Tess lying on the ground. The soldiers were saying, she took down two of their men before getting killed.
Joel locked the door from inside which the soldiers broke down and all we had to do was escaping this place in one piece. There I noticed an opening that took me to the other side of the building.
After jumping to the other side of the building, I found a dead man having a rifle with him which is a hunting rifle and I took it as my own so I can use it against the soldiers or against the clickers somewhere.
When we reached another room, we noticed some soldiers with arms were looking for us there being pinned silent. Ellie got scared but Joel said he got this.
So yeah I was responsible there so I shot down those soldiers using the hunting rifle.
There were only two of them in that room and after taking them down, we were going downwards taking the stairs and suddenly we reached this part where the stairs were blown away somehow so we had to jump down.
And there were many more soldiers in the downstairs and they were talking as if they were sure about our presence in there. I shot that man down and two more of them joined later and I also got a bullet.
This was just another room where three more of them were searching for us in pinned silent and it seemed like they didn't hear the gunshots I just did right in the other room as they looked calm. Now I tried to neutralize them silently so I can take on one by one.
I was surprised to see how numb the other solder was who was looking for me there when I was taking one of them down in cold blood in the open.
And this is the last one in this Capitol Building and I took him down in stealth as well and then I looked for whatever I could loot from there and we came outside.
After coming outside of the Capitol Building which was the back actually, we noticed the tunnel over there which we'll use to stay undetected to the soldiers but we're going into the dark again.
We'll check what happens next in another post.
