Baldur has become a pain in the a** from the beginning of this game and I guess its time we'll have a chance to kill him for real as he somehow lost his immortality. Let's see the action packed post where the father and son fought Baldur.
That's what happened in my last post and I'm leaving the photos above just to let you know what happened before.
We were thrown out of the stomach of the worlds serpent and there you see the serpent looked completely different than what we've been seeing all this time.
Well, after landing, Kratos was looking for Atreus and the kid jumped out of his fall. This time Kratos didn't have to save him from the fall which says he boy was getting stronger or maybe he was always this strong.
Suddenly there came Freya being an eagle. When Kratos asked Freya how she was this far from home, she replied that she was looking for his son as Kratos has made her see things clearly. When Freya was about to talk to Atreus, Kratos kept him behind as they can't trust Freya now as they know she's the mother of Baldur and also kept it a secret.
Then there came Baldur out of the frost water and was saying that he had a feeling that hurting the big snake would bring the father and son out in the open. So he was hurting the world's serpent and that's why we were thrown out of the stomach.
Baldur seemed surprised seeing Freya, his mother there. Freya was saying sorry to her son but it looked like Baldur was too angry about Freya making him immortal cause he didn't have any feelings. He was going towards Freya to kill her but Kratos stopped him.
And the great fight against Baldur started there already. I guess Kratos should've give Baldur chance to have family time first as he seemed totally pissed off now.
When we started fighting, Freya was trying to stop us but both Kratos and Baldur was in rage and this should be the last fight against Baldur. I kept attacking him with everything I had.
At this point, Freya tied Kratos with stronger spell and missed Baldur. Atreus ran to release his father using his tiny knife when Kratos couldn't release himself.
Baldur threw a big rock on Freya which she evaded successfully and then Baldur asked Atreus to get away but the boy stood up for his father like being a brave boy. Baldur gave Atreus a big punch and the boy fell unconscious for a moment and then Kratos noticed blood on him. The boy said, it was not his blood.
It looked like Atreus has used an arrow with a special spell getting from Freya which made Baldur mortal again and Baldur was too happy with that.
When he was busy expressing his happiness, Freya tied him up and there came the corpse of Thamur and the giant looked alive now who was taking both Kratos and Atreus somewhere carrying in his hand.
Thamur put the father and son on somewhere and it looked like Baldur was still coming for them. Kratos and Atreus stood back to back as they didn't know from where Baldur was coming towards them.
He came out of nowhere and tried to surprise us with his wrath but I blocked his attack and started attacking him again. The head of Thamur was close to us and we understood that Freya was controlling the giant which says how powerful Freya is.
I kept attacking Baldur and it seemed like he was more powerful than before. He was throwing flames towards me and he was becoming frost. I had to use both my weapons on him noticing how he becomes from time to time.
Then suddenly Freya tried to hide Baldur controlling the giant. Then Kratos lift that thing up and asked Atreus to shoot Baldur with his magical arrows.
Atreus missed the shot and Kratos fell below to another surface. Atreus was stuck there above when Baldur came to me with more power and there came some monsters of Niflheim to help him. The fight was getting more interesting with each stage now.
We'll check what happens next in another post.
I'll try to talk about more special moments soon from my play in God of War or maybe from other games.

End of the post.
Peace.
The fight was so epic, I loved every single scene you shared, it sure wasn't easy.
Fighting Baldur seems like the hardest thing in this game but I enjoy fighting him cause Kratos finds someone worthy of his wrath.
I got very involved in the parts of this chapter that you shared with us, it's really a shame to see that everything has ended like this between Kratos and Baldur, I hope that at some point they can make the passes, really the story is being very amazing.
I'm sad to say that the concept is very close to the ending and you guys might have to wait for a good time to see Kratos and Atreus again when I get to play Ragnarok.
This battle is really epic, this is one of my favorite games. Thanks for sharing this gem.
