The concept is definitely getting interested with me going deeper. You should remember Joel getting a rod in his body and he almost died. Well, we can't be sure if died or not as the next thing after he fell from the horse I found was Ellie hunting in the wild.
I don't remember seeing snowfalls anywhere near the university but it looks like this forest is fully covered with with snow that says its winter.
There was this cute white rabbit jumping around on the snow and suddenly it got an arrow inside of its body and it looked like Ellie hunted the rabbit and she stowed it on the horse.
Suddenly Ellie noticed a deer exploring around the forest and she decided to hunt the deer. I got to play as Ellie now and I had the bow and some arrows of Joel that I started using to shoot the arrow down.
I did a clean shot though I shot on the body, not on the neck and it ran away. I kept tracking it following its bloodstain hoping I'd find the body somewhere but I found it alive and I shot it again.
So yeah, I missed the target, couldn't hit her and the deer ran away so I started running after it again and I found her again. This time I didn't wish to let her run again so I was being patience and getting closer before shooting her but she heard noise and she ran again.
I became more careful this time and I became a lot more silent and I shot the deer perfectly from a height but it still didn't die, it kept running away and I didn't give up, I kept following the deer.
Ellie was confused as how the deer was still alive and it took me to this place that looks like a little town where I noticed more of its bloodstains. I went ahead and I noticed it was a mining site.

At last I found the deer and I looked around before getting to her. Then I went ahead and Ellie was about to carry the deer but she understood she was not alone there.
Ellie pulled an arrow on the right direction and asked them to come out slowly and these men came out. That's David with a rifle on his shoulder who seemed nice and said he'd need the deer as his peoples are hungry.
Ellie said she'd need the deer as well and that man, David asked for a trade with some of the deer meat. Ellie offered some antibiotics for the whole deer and David sent the other man to their camp to grab the antibiotics. Ellie took David's rifle and kept him on gun point.

STOPEllie taking the lead in such a harsh winter environment shows how much she’s grown. I can't wait to watch the second season of the TV series but I don't know for how long I'll have to wait for that.
Now you need to be careful with David as he's not on your side.
