In my last post, I talked about fighting some bandits in Tommy's safehouse and when Joel convinced Tommy to get Ellie to the lab, something got into the girl and he left the place riding a horse. I rode along with Tommy to find her and went for the end of this chapter.
The horses in this game looks so realistic and riding them is also realistic, I mean it seemed hard to control them the way I can control a car or bike in a game. But yeah, looks good.
We kept riding to find Ellie as Tommy was mentioning she couldn't have gotten far. Then we reached this waterfall where I stopped for a moment to check the beauty of the waterfall.
We kept moving and suddenly fell on an ambush where some hunters threw fire bottles so the horses got spooked and ran away leaving us there. There were 6/7 hunters there that we had to deal with.
After dealing with the hunters, Tommy whistled and the horses came back and we kept riding till we reached this ranch hoise named "Hidden Pines Corral" and we found the horse there that Ellie took.

After getting inside the ranch hoise, Joel started calling Ellie by her name and she responded saying she's up there. Tommy stayed back to keep an eye out hoping Joel needs to have a chat with Ellie.
Ellie pulled the stunt cause she understood Joel wanted to get rid of her all this time when she was watching Joel as a father figure. They had an emotional conversation there but Joel made it sure at last that he's not her father that broke the heart of the girl.
Then Tommy came up to warn us about some hunters reaching this ranch house and that's the first hunter that I hunted down there after pushing him inside the room when another one was searching for us outside of this room and I took care of him with an arrow.
I noticed there were three more of them below and all of them were armed. I had to be careful there as I didn't know how many more they were there so I made it stealth battle and I took all of them quietly.

Then Joel went out to check if there's more outside but it looked clear so the others came out and Ellie didn't say a word to anyone after that.

I didn't have to ride the horse back as they were heading back in cinematic and those sunset scenes looked beautiful.

There was this moment where the camera first blurred Ellie and did it to Joel showing how they were behaving. It looked like both were sad for their actions.

They reached close to Tommy's safehouse when sun was almost out and suddenly Joel asked Ellie to come to his horse as he was going with her that enlighten the mood of the girl. Joel bid goodbye to his brother there.

I'm glad you noticed the beauty of the nature. After the fight back in the safe zone, it felt refreshing riding the horse through the forest.
