A look back on the polygonal beauty of Vice City - For me the best GTA

Source

GTA Vice City is one of the classic games that surely we have all played at some point in our lives, whether it was in a cyber cafe or on our PC, but it is undoubtedly one of the games that I remember most from my childhood and the ones I played the most when I was a kid. opportunity

I only recently realized how much I like the retro aesthetic of these games when 3D was still in full development and we didn't see the polished results we have today in day

But playing a GTA is always full of surprises especially because I have never completed the story mode of these old GTAs and I have always wanted to do so I couldn't find a better chance than downloading it and starting to play while I publish my experiences here

immediately after starting the game I noticed that there is something else that I like about these old games and it is their aesthetics because it has been quite a while since we have had polygonal games from this era where 3D was still abundant and very expensive to create. produce

So I came up with an idea to take some images of moments that I liked and that look pretty cool and post them here

Most of them are images of some of those cinematics that are inspired by the movies of the years but there are also some that seem iconic to me in their gameplay

I have seen several users who always post images of GTA and even some who post from the most recent games but I really like to go back and review the entire journey that this industry has made to get to the exceptional graphics that we have and this is one of those steps

The eighties vibe that this game has can be seen both in its setting and in the characters that are hanging around there and also especially in its music since it has a repertoire of artists that I consider to be one of the best a video game has ever had

I can't express my happiness when as a child some Michael Jackson song was playing and I was driving towards the sunset and I could stay there all afternoon without hitting anyone just listening to the radio and living in the city of Vice City

But from time to time if I missed a crash with a pedestrian I also liked to measure myself against the police Although most of the time I would climb the stars too fast And they would end up finishing me off within a few minutes with me only having a gun and my fists

Enjoy the scene and expect more posts from me here because I'm still starting with this game and I'll surely be playing more GTA in the future

I also want to review the first ones that were played with the camera up as well as the previous ones that came to this Vice City experience Like for example San Andreas And maybe also the third installment although I don't have much experience with it appreciation

In terms of aesthetics, Vice City seems to me to be the best of the entire franchise, it is a beautiful game that you can immerse yourself in for hours.

for me it's also the best, it's my all time favourite, I think the 80s have a unique vibe

I was nostalgic to see this game, it really was the beginning of a great saga and see how far they have come, remember to comment on other publications of other members of the community, will be taken into account for a curating

it's my favorite gta in good part because of nostalgia, it was the only one that was on the pc's of the cyber cafe that was near my house

The first time I played this game was in a console shop and when we got a computer that could run this game, I'd play it for all day.

Btw, what console you used to play the game? The pictures doesn't look so good and why they're smaller and cropped as if you took screenshots from a gameplay video or something?

rashed.ifte here 👋

Hi rashed the screenshots are from a video I took while playing, for some reason the video taken in OBS rescaled the image so I had to cut them and that's why they don't look too big, I still can't find the solution although this only happens when I play some old games on my pc

this is how it looks when I record the game on OBS (full screen)
