Amelie wanted to leave the place and told that there is still work to do. She also asked Sam if he still believes in her; also, she added that even without Higgs, she is a walking time bomb. She can end everything, but all she wanted was to be a part of it, for all of them to be one.
After hearing this, Sam asked, Was this all for her or the bridge? She replied that this is for her country. She wanted to know something when he was back east; she went to visit him. He replied with some questions, like, Did she lie? Did she have any kind of idea what it took him to get there?
She replied that she had to lie to make him come here because he doesn't care for America or bridges. He only cared about the reason to build UCA. With that said, they started running on the beach to go somewhere. They were running, looking very happy.
After reaching a destination Amelie told Sam to wait as she moved ahead, but he didn't listen; he followed her, and he saw Bridged talking to Die-Hardman on the beach.
Die-Hardman had a gun pointed at her and told her that it's the same gun, and now he is using it to make everything right. He also added that she was supposed to make the world whole. Then she pulled him closer and told him to shoot her, and he did shoot her, but nothing happened.
After he shot her and nothing happened, he saw that some soldiers were coming out of the sea with guns pointed at him, and he also pointed the gun at them.
Clifford Unger, the captain of the team came forward and he took off his goggles and revealed his face. He was very surprised to see Die-Hardman's face.
The soldier took off Die-Hardman's mask and asked if it really was him And Die-Hardman introduced himself as John. Clifford asked if he remembers anything. But John didn't remember what it was about; Clifford stood up and pointed his gun at Die-Hardman aka John. While he was pointing his gun at Die-Hardman kept apologizing to him.
Clifford pointed his gun at Bridget now and told her to give him back his BB; she told him that he was looking in the wrong place, and then she pointed to a place.
Clifford screamed out calling the BB, and his force was marching ahead. Clifford already noticed Sam; that's why he was marching for him. Sam got really scared with the bridge baby in his hand; he also prepared his weapon to fight.
When Sam was preparing for a fight, Amelie stopped him and came forward with and pushed Sam from the cliff. Sam fell deep in the sea with the baby.
While Sam was drowning under the sea, he had a vision that the baby he was holding was now inside of him and the baby didn't look normal. It was kind of a horrific scene.
Sam woke up and noticed Higgs mask that he tried to catch, but suddenly Deadman came over who was actually moving the mask. Sam asked Deadman where he was so Deadman replied that he was in the back east of Tar Belt in Fragile's private room, and he should thank Amelie. Sam asked where Amelie was and Deadman replied that he didn't know; he added that after Amelie saw him, she contacted HQ and left them a message.
In the message, she said that she is going to finish what Bridget started. Sam told Deadman that he saw Bridget on the beach. Deadman suggested Sam to calm down and asked him to remember that he himself burned Bridget's body so there isn't any chance of Bridget being on the beach. Sam asked him to check the records, but Deadman replied that the only record is Sam' memory, and he wanted to know more about what he remembers.
Sam said he saw Clifford on the beach who also took Die Hardman hostage. Now Deadman understood why they haven't heard from Die-Hardman for so long. He also added that he always suspected Die-Hardman, but now he's starting to piece together a different narrative and something is bothering him.
He said they were assuming that Higgs was controlling Cliff. But now he thinks Cliff is the mastermind. And he thinks that Cliff is holding Amelie and the director hostage on the beach. Sam wanted to go to the beach, but Deadman stopped him and told him the BB needs rest. The BB yawned seeing him yawn, which made both Sam and Deadman yawn.

Yeah, that scene was definitely intense. The baby part gave me chills too, especially because I was playing in the dark.
