Hello Everyone.
I'm still trying to fix my Far Cry 6 game and still didn't find any solutions and that is why I finally decided to change the game I play. I've been playing Shadow of The Tomb Raider for a few days but that game is unsuitable for photography that I can present in this community. And this is why I decided to start playing another one and after seeing others sharing cool images from RDR2, I decided I also needed to play Red Dead Redemption 2.
I already played a bit of the game and had a lot of adventures during it but as it was the beginning of the game, there were a lot of cinematic scenes so I just waited for them to end. So that I can continue with my casual gameplay and have a chance to explore the open world to capture some shots I want.
Below here, I'm just sharing some random shots of Arthur using the photo mode at the beginning of the game. I was actually working my way around the feature and found some points that I might not like. I used to take most of my cool shots in Far Cry 6 using the wide angle option and there was also an option to move back the camera. But, in this one, there's a limitation of how much you can move back and that's only a few feet and found no option for a wide angle.
I would share a storyline of my gameplay but as it is still the beginning of the game, most of the scenes are cinematic and if I want to explain the storyline, my post would have 80% cinematic shots and 20% shots taken using the photo mode.
In a cinematic scene, I was talking to our butcher and learned that the hunters came back empty-handed to the camp and we'd need to stay empty belly. But, Arthur and another NPC character (sorry, I haven't memorized all their names yet.) decided to go on a hunt for deer. Arthur was planning to use his gun but the other character warned him that the sound of a gunshot would scare all the enemies in the area.
Horse riding was fun but the snow storm and the cold wind was making it harder for us. So, when after a while we saw the sun peaking through the clouds, we were really happy and Arthur could now ride without shivering.
After a long ride, we found some tracks of deer and started to follow them. As this was my first hunt in the game, I was extremely excited and I also needed to be cautious as the deer would run away if they even got a hint of our presence. So, I did not take any pictures of the hunting scene.
Hunting deer was not easy at all. I messed up the first time and it ran away and we had to walk a lot more including cross a river to find others and there we were able to kill two of them. After that, we put them on the back of our horses and decided to come back. But this time we had to take a long way back because a huge bear was blocking our path and my partner didn't want to engage with it and bring more trouble upon us.
By the time we reached the camp, the sun was about to go down and the snowstorm was at its full ability again. You can just see it in the picture below. I also love how hard the devs of the game worked to create the realistic snow effect.
After completing the mission, I wanted to take a stroll outside and capture some shots by climbing up a cliff. But the weather was so rough that my horse died because of the cold. There was a warning sign telling me to go back to the camp but I did not think it could be the cause of my death. After my horse died, I started to run back to the camp but my health was also at its lowest and I was barely able to come back to the camp and heal myself by the fire.
Hope you liked it and stay tuned till I'm back with another one. Have A Good Day.
