Liberating A University From The Enemies. Far Cry 6.

in Gaming Photography2 months ago

Hi Everyone.

In this post, I'll share how I liberated a whole FND military base, rescued some hostages and also liberated a checkpost of the enemies. I'll also share some shots of the beautiful nature of the game. So, stay tuned till the end.

This is where the game began. It was lagging a bit as I was playing after a lot of days and took some time to load the resources. The shining sun was so beautiful that I decided to take a shot of it.

And when I crossed the hill, I was looking for a car to continue my journey but I noticed a soldier from the special ops was there and he was a sniper. There was no point avoiding him and trying to run around him. So, I decided to kill him but due to his heavy armour, even after taking a few shots from my sniper rifle wasn't enough to kill him. I had to chase him and clear another 3 mags of my pistol to kill him but before dying, he knocked off Guapo (my crocodile pet). Here's the scene where I was healing Guapo.

The scene was beautiful so I decided to take a shot with my trusted companion.

Just behind me, there was an enemy checkpost and I needed to travel that way too. So I decided to liberate it. If I choose front action fighting, the enemy would send an alarm to the reinforcement and that would make the battle hard and long as hell. So, I hid in the forest and used my sniper rifle to take them down one by one.

So, after killing only 4 guards, the checkpost was liberated and here are some shots of it. But, I needed to burn that billboard with the picture of Anton Castilo, in the end, to fully liberate the checkpost and finalize the mission.

This was an enemy truck and I was repairing it to move to my next mission but as it had some blindspots, I hit a horse that was beside the road and killed the poor horse. You can see it in the second picture below. I then took the buggy to move to the location.

Here's a shot of me driving the buggy. Isn't the reflection of the afternoon sun beautiful?

On my way to the mission location, I noticed some chaos beside the road and it was some guerilla soldiers fighting with the enemies and asking me for help. I was riding for quite some time and thought, why not go for some action? But, I regretted my decision soon as you can see from the intensity of the battle from the images below.

I tried to take a shot of the cool healing animation but it was so quick that I missed it.

screenshot0030.jpg

This helicopter was causing me more trouble compared to all the enemies combined and I was not getting a single chance to use my Supremo rockets to destroy it cause all the enemies and the helicopter were constantly shooting at me. So, once I was done with the soldiers, I ran to the road and used my weapon so that the rockets wouldn't hit any objects and also that I could get a good shot.

The road towards that military base was amazingly beautiful, it was almost dawn and if it was daytime, I believe it would be way more beautiful.

screenshot0070.jpg

As I was getting closer, I noticed a huge city ahead and a large building that looked like a tower from the distance. All the other buildings around it looked like small grass around a coconut tree. I was not sure that I wanted to go to such a huge place since I just started playing in this new location and obviously there would be some hard-as-hell missions there.

screenshot0071.jpg

Luckily the road took a left turn and so did I. "You'll have to wait a bit longer BEAUTIFUL CITY". As you can see I was passing the city from the side and took a shot while looking to the right.

screenshot0074.jpg

This huge building ahead is my mission. As soon as I reached there, I learned that this was a university campus and the soldiers of Anton Castilo had captured it to make it their base and were holding the president of the campus including a guerilla soldier as a hostage.

screenshot0075.jpg

I didn't want to mess around in this huge place and as an army base, this place is sure to be filled with soldiers. That's why I took a position on the roof of a building and scouted the building first. They also had a multi-rocket launcher on the top of the building.

screenshot0076.jpg

I was able to find one of the hostages but the surprising thing is I only found about 3 soldiers there when I was expecting hundreds of them. Still, there was one problem, I could not destroy the alarm system as my bullets were doing nothing to it. This is surely going to cause me a lot of trouble by informing the reinforcements soldiers.

So, I rushed in to kill them. But, still used some cover and my sniper rifle to take down those guards in the gate. But, guapo went to the front and that triggered the alarm and all the soldiers were coming out of their rooms one by one. Now, I realised that there were not only 3 of them and there were really hundreds of them. I'll share some shots of the fight below. Getting a perfect shot while being in a aggressive battle is really hard and that's why I didn't use the photo mode and instead took some screenshots using the snipping tool.

There was a helicopter and I had to use my supremo to destroy it.

The next 10-15 minutes of the gameplay was pretty embarrassing for me as I was spending the time to search the campus for the president of the university and even after searching two of the buildings multiple times, I didn't find him. I had to check it on YouTube and found out that you can't find him by searching. You need to kill all the soldiers and the friendly soldiers come and find him.

So, I had killed all the soldiers before and only a helicopter was left to destroy and I didn't destroy it cause my Supremo was all out of ammo. But, as I learned that only by destroying it, I can complete the mission. I went out and used one of the machine guns to destroy it and the mission was complete finally.

The university is liberated and open for the education of the local students.

There are two more FND bases remaining in this area and a lot more on the whole map. So, I'll be back soon with a lot of amazing posts. Follow my profile and stay tuned for more. And I also hope that you liked my post. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section.

Great job on liberating the base and rescuing the hostages. The nature shots, especially with the sunset and the buggy drive looks amazing. It’s cool how you balance action with moments to admire the game’s beautiful landscapes.

The way you balanced the action with capturing the beauty of the game’s environment, is really nice. Keep up the fantastic work. Looking forward to your next adventure and more incredible photos.
