Hello Everyone.
In my previous posts, I've shared how we lost Carlos Montero at the hands of Jose Castilo while trying to save Alejandro and because of the betrayal of Miguel. That was a mission full of twists, suspense and sorrows. But that wasn't the end of sorrows and revenge. In this post, I'll share another mission and it also has a connection to those past sorrows.
So, at the end of my previous post, I said that Alejandro gave me a mission to retrieve the Machate of Carlos Montero. As there was no sign of him left due to the blast and as his body was turned into pieces and they decided to bury his hatchet instead.

The Church was quite far away, so I choose a pickup van as my transportation. As you can sere that I started my journey in the afternoon but it soon turned into night by the time I reached there.
So, I finally reached the church and inside the church Father Pietro was waiting for me. He said that Alejandro already informed him about my arrival and he was waiting for me. There I got a bad news. He informed me that he doesn't have the machate anymore. Before my arrival, some soldiers came and took it from him. He then gave me their location and now I need to chase them and get the machate.
So I was again on my way to find the machate. But, because of the incidents earlier, the situation was quite hot. There were patroling vehicles and helicopters everywhere and I had to face a lot of small battles with those patrolling soldiers.
Here's a scene where Dani removed a bullet from her other hand while healing herself and taking the meds.
And while I was on my way, I couldn't go the whole way via vehicle because the road was not that good. I had to use a horse for the forest and rocks part and I even had to run while crossing through some shallow water. So, got to see a lot of beautiful sceneries and sharing two of them below.
The night sceneries sure look good but I wanted to see this specific one in daylight. But I can't wait that long so I used the photo mode where you can change the time of the day to capture shots.
- I really Liked this spot.
When I finally reached the camp, I found out that there were too many of them to kill. I tried to kill them in a frontal battle by directly entering the camp cause I can't kill that many of them using a sniper from far distant and to deal the most damage and do the "one bullet one kill" thing, I had to be as close to them as I could.
But, I soon got surrounded from all side and I had to escape them and I barely did that. And just over the camp, there were a jeep with a mounted machine gun and that helped me a lot to kill those enemies.
But, just when I thought that the battle is over, the reinforcements arrived, It was paratroopers and a helicopter. Luckily, I'm invincible with a mchinge gun and I destroyed the helicopter and kill the rest of the soldiers. I almost died though because the gun jammed in the end because of overheating. And just before getting destroyed the helicopter threw a missile at the jeep and I had to get off first.
There were a few more soldiers left and I had to kill them using my pistol. And then I finally got the machate.
After a long journey back, I reached the camp and there the cinematic scene of Carlos's burial began. Roberto was saying the prayers and Camilia(Espada) was placing the nameplate stones. CM is for Carlos Montero.
Then, Dani and Alejandro appeared the scene with the machate and gave it to Camilia.
Roberto wasn't happy seeing Alejandro cause Carlos died trying to save him and all Alejandro did his whole life was work for those enemies. Roberto said, "Carlos for Alejandro, shit trade." And there was a clash between them because of it. To clam Alejandro, Espada shouted at him and there was another small clash between Dani and Espada about it. I guess it's the sorrowness in everyone's heart that causing those clashes.
Just then a few officers of Jose Castilo appeared the scene and they were unarmed. After questioning, they said they were native in this land and were only working for Jose as a job to earn and lead a good life. But, they can't stay under Jose after he killed Carlos, the leader of all Monteros. Camilia welcomed them to the team. I believe they are going to be of great help in future. They also gave the information about those three lieutenants that lead the murder of Carlos.
The Spot They Prepared For Carlos Montero's Burrial.
Now, my mission is to find and kill those lieutenants and complete my revenge. Follow my profile and stay tuned cause I'll be soon back with new posts and new parts of the story. Till then stay happy and stay tuned.

Everything you had to do to get the Machete back from Carlos, that was incredible. I feel that in that part you risk a lot just for an object, although I understand the sentimental value of being able to recover it to give Carlos M. a holy burial.
The screenshots you managed to get are great, I liked them a lot.
I didn't Bring it back from Carlos. It was Carlos's and the enemies took it after he died from a bomb blast. There was no sign of his body due to the blust and we buried his favourite machete in his place.
I think you didn't interpret it well or maybe it was me who didn't explain it well.
I understand that Carlos is already dead, but his body is in pieces and that's why they couldn't give him a burial.
They wanted to recover Carlos' Machete to use it to bury him in Carlos' name.
And what I mean is that it was a risky thing to face so many soldiers just to recover a Machete, although I can understand that this Machete had a sentimental value since it belonged to Carlos. That was why they wanted to recover it, to use it in Carlos' place and give it a holy burial in his honor.
I think that now it is better understood.
Glad to know you liked it. Thanks.
The night scenes of this game looks great. Good photographs.
I can see that. But did you stay there for the whole night to capture this before/after? I don't see any other way as I can see both are in the same frame.
You just needed to read the two lines above the part you mentioned.
Damn, I just didn't notice that part. And its awesome that you can even change times of the day in the photo mode.
