Night Photography in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Night Photography. showing and talking about Night Photography in RDR 2.

here, he did great.I'm glad to see my capture in the contest announcement post and I feel proud to see someone tagging me in his post saying he got inspired from my captures. Yeah, don't forget to check @noomer's entry from

I was at Bolger Glade, Scarlet Meadows, LE though I don't remember what I was doing there. I guess I was looking for two prisoners to let them know I tore up all the bounty papers with their names on them. And I noticed the moon was not doing fine.

I mean, the moon didn't look so happy with the cloudy sky. You see the sky gets so clear and starry and beautiful when its not covered with dark clouds, but it was quite different that night.

As far as I remember, this was a battle field of some kind that still has battle equipment's around and you can see a barracks there on the photo above.

This tree amazed me when I froze the frame at that moment. All three photos above are from the same moment, I just liked the frame too much that I tried multiple captures.

Now this was another night, not from long back when I was following Kamassa River and noticed the moon after coming out of a camp named Butcher Creek. I was at Roanoke Ridge, NH.

I was using the trees and surroundings to have special vibes in the captures when the moon was the limelight for sure.

I was riding away from Butcher Creek and I noticed the moon was playing hide & seek with me so I froze the frame and captured this one.

Do you remember me helping Eagle Flies with something where I had to fight some peoples at the oil mill? It was after finishing that job and bidding Eagle Flies good bye.

I didn't plan to keep these leaves in the frame but when I was looking for a good capture having Arthur looking at the moon, I somehow got the leaves in the frame.

It was right before going for the heist that Angelo Bronte set up for us. I left Arthur at St. Denis in the dark last time and I found him in the dark also. The moon looked so nice that I didn't help but capture a photo after letting Arthur rest on a ship. Yeah, it was at the port of St. Denis.

I was going towards the mission and was also looking for good captures at the same time as I like to do night photography.

Found this statue right under the lamppost when I was running for something.

Ah, another lamppost and this time I made Arthur the model. You know I like lampposts specially when it comes to doing night photography.

Should it be counted as a portrait photo or a night photo? That man was enjoying the cigar without knowing I was making him the model of this frame.

I took this thin lane to get to the mission thinking it'd be something where I'd have to fight some hijackers as I noticed some dude ahead in the dark and it didn't look safe.

Look, there were two of them and both looked scary when one of them was sharpening something and the other one was smoking. They didn't do anything stupid and I didn't have to blow their heads off.

Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

These night shots are mesmerizing. Every shot tells a different story, and the way you describe them makes them even more immersive and I just loved the lamppost shots.
