When I came to Valentine taking the train ride to do the last mission I talked about the other day, I noticed a stranger mission in the town there. There were two brothers seeking adventure and they asked for my help to prove their bravery.
That's Acrisius and Proetus who were talking against each other. As Acrisius was tagging Proetus as a scoundrel and not a gentleman, Proetus called me over and asked Arthur if he looks like a coward.
Proetus asked Arthur to shoot a bottle on his head to show off how fearsome he is and Acrisius joined as well.
Arthur mentioned the boys are ridiculous but he still decided to do it as they requested him to and besides, they won't mind if I miss my target. You know I'm a good shooter and doing this is easy for me so I shot the bottle over Proetus's head.
And I wished to see what happens if I shoot their leg instead of the bottle so I shot on the right leg of Acrisius. I thought he'd just get injured but he died getting the hole inside this leg and his brother Proetus started grieving instead of being happy.
And the mission was failed as Acrisius ahs died.
I did it right this time but the boys started being more ridiculous and asked me to shoot smaller bottles and I shot both of them on the faces this time.
I don't know why it felt so good shooting them over and over. I shot both of them again but first Proetus and then Acrisius.
Now that I passed the second test, they became more stubborn and asked me to shoot small bottles when they'd stand with one leg up, means they'd shake when I'd shoot the bottles.
There was this lady Helen who was probably their cousin or the girlfriend of one of them. Helen asked them to stop being scared but they didn't want to.
I shot on both of their legs for the next two turns willingly and I did it right the 3rd time.
Then Acrisius was asking me to do one when he hop and Proetus was asking me to do one when he turn somersaults but Arthur said he had enough. They left after thanking me and paying me $1.26 for my time.
There was this back door of the store that was open so I went inside to rob the storekeeper and leave the area silently. I even stabbed the storekeeper to death so he can't complain to anyone.
But when I was about to leave the town, someone witnessed the dead body and was going to complain to the law so I shot him down and I escaped the town when lawmen started chasing me.
After the lawmen gave up as I rode fast, I rode back to Valentine's railway station to take a train ticket to St. Denis and I bought it for $10.
It was midnight in the game when I reached St. Denis so I thought of going to a hotel and stay the night there but the only hotel that I know in St. Denis was closed so I had to leave Arthur at the station.

Hey, Great storytelling here, m8. It's a shame that they witnessed the dead body and you needed to leave town on that way he he, but it's just part of be a Outlaw I suppose :D
