Today I share with you the next chapter of my adventures in the world of Dragon Dogma Dark Arisen, where after the defeat of the Great Dragon, things in Gran Soren have begun to get out of control, to the point where the King himself, has deceived all his soldiers by mentioning that the Arisen has cast a curse on his King and that has been the reason for his sudden aging.
Let's see what kind of things we are facing this time after accidentally falling into the hole that was born in the kingdom of Gran Soren.
Previously, we had arrived at Gran Soren, where we noticed that everything was in total chaos, I peeked through the huge hole that is located in what was once the lower town of the kingdom, fortunately for the people of this place, nothing had happened to harm their lives, only that their homes no longer exist, but what surprises me is that under this place is the Everfall, an area that at the beginning of my adventures in this video game, I had explored and fled.
When I tried to walk through other places I found the guards of the kingdom, who told me that I had to go to visit the King, who is hiding in his office and had given the order to go to him as soon as possible.
When I arrived, to my surprise the King was totally aged, and he was very upset with me, since he immediately discovered that I did not accept the offer and the sacrifice of the dragon to have eternal life and not only my Arisen, but also all those who were Arisen once as the Dragon Forged and the King, now that I reject eternal life all those who did want to make the sacrifice turned to dust as the Dragon Forged and the King is going the same way.
When I tried to talk to the king about what happened, he was totally angry and my Arisen was surprised to see him in that state, since he never imagined that the King was also an Arisen and that he had accepted that pact in the past.
Immediately, the King unsheathed his sword and wanted to fight a duel with me, but as he is totally old, he does not even have enough strength to sheathe a sword, in this part I tried to play a little with the limited mode of the camera to choose a good angle, but it was really a little complicated to see the size of the sword and see how it was noticeable that the king could not sheathe it as a worthy knight and King.
The king was trying with all his strength to kill me, but I only had to cover myself with the shield to prevent him from hitting me, there came a point where the parry of my shield pushed him to the outskirts of the castle, moment where the king's elite guard arrived to stop me, but in reality I had no intention of hurting the king, but he managed to tell him that I made a pact with the dragon and giving the king the curse of aging “before time”.
So all the guards began to chase me, so I had no choice but to flee and fight them, as they have become my enemies because of the king himself.
When I tried to run away the guards were blocking my way, so I had to use some of my special abilities to eliminate them all in one move, I felt a little bad to face the guards, since they were only obeying orders and you could see in their faces that they didn't want to face me, so they do it by force.
In one of the screenshots, I was able to capture a part where I used one of my special abilities called Dragon Bite, it made me take down all the knights in a single moment, just look at the blood particles everywhere and the knights in the air.
When I left the first part of the kingdom, I had to face or flee from the soldiers guarding the entrance, among them one of the leaders of the guard was also displeased under the king's order to imprison me, so they sheathed their swords against me and I had to face them to escape.
But there came a point where I was totally surrounded, as I had run to the huge hole when I was cornered, so there were all the guards and my Arisen was about to fall through that hole.
There's still a bit more to share from this video game, so I'll leave what happened next in the next chapter.
