I found Taylor to guard the infirmary and I had to meet Doc Jiminez without knowing it was the last time meeting the doc. This was a small story of the doc wanted to go on a run with Deacon but the Colonel ordered him not to as he can't be replaced. The Colonel tried doing the same thing with Sarah when he was going out on a run with Deacon next but she was unstoppable.
It was time for a routine checkup on Deacon's burned hand and when I reached the infirmary, found Taylor there on guard. After spilling some funny words out, Taylor said he saw Sarah earlier trying to get something from the doc.
Deacon went in and after clearing his wound, the doc asked Deacon to take him on a run as it's been a long time he hasn't been on the outside world so she was getting bored.
But suddenly the Colonel came over ordered the doc not to go out of the camp as he can't be replaced.
Then I went to meet Sarah and she said she needed a DNA synthesizer that Deacon mentioned they'd find in Sarah's old lab in Cloverfield Research Center.
After asking Sarah to get ready, Deacon was going out but Sarah suddenly called him and kissed him that changed Deacon's mood very fast.
Deacon was getting his bike ready in the camp while Sarah was waiting and suddenly the Colonel came over taking Kouri with him and asked them where they were heading to.
After knowing where they were going, the Colonel said the same thing to Sarah that he said to the doc but he couldn't pressure it on the lady like it did on the doc.
I started riding outside in the dark when Deacon was talking about the pointless disciplines the peoples in the camp are following. Then Sarah said she used to thing the same about Deacon when he was in the Army, lol.
We reached this checkpoint at the Thielsen Pass that was being guarded by that Militia Soldier and he asked Deacon to turn around cause he got orders to keep anyone from going towards that direction.
As Sarah was in a lot higher rank than the soldier, she ordered him to stay out of the way as he did and then I continued our ride till we reached the Thielsen Tunnel.
Sarah was surprised seeing those bodies there that was an art of the Rippers. She didn't know about the rippers but now that she learned about them, she was confused what to do about them when they find one and Deacon confirmed they were taken care of.
There was this car blocking the entrance of the tunnel so we had to move it and then I rode through the dark tunnel taking Sarah on the back.
After riding for sometimes passing the tunnel, we reached the research facility but the gate was closed.
Deacon was strong enough to check if the gate was okay to interact with or not and it looked like the gate was electrified with high voltage.
As Sarah was a stuff of that facility, she had access to the security system and they got the gate open after Sarah tried his security entrance through her biometric hand print and voice id.
After getting in there, both of them got surprised to see corn fields with fresh foods around. As the irrigation system was self-automated and there was solar electricity in the facility, the foods didn't dry up.
