After freeing Taro along with Beni and Saiya, I had to honor Taro at the Mask Shrine in the Village so I went back there where the old man talked about imagining the corruption in the forest has cleared after saying Taro's is resting with his siblings now.
The old man said there was still work to be done if I wish to reach the Mountain Shrine. He said a skilled woodsmith once lived in their village (he was called Adira) who built structures beyond anyone's imagination. The old man gave me Adira's mask and suggested me to search the fields beyond the storehouse for Adira's troubled spirit.
After reaching the spirit barrier, I used the mask to open it up and I just got n entry to another part of the map that was not open for me before which tells me I can unlock all other barriers one by one now.
I was so happy to unlock another region after thinking the beautiful game came to an end already. I went ahead to explore the place and look for the wordsmith's spirit but that beehive attracted me so I stopped and tried shooting to see if there are bees or not and there were none.
I noticed there were multiple ways ahead so I got confused which one to take and then I took the left one thinking I'd have explore the whole place anyway and suddenly I noticed these strange stones that were glowing.
I tried interacting but nothing happened with the stones.
I moved ahead and I noticed a switch there that I activated with rot's help and a wheel started rotating where I found some crystals though I had to shoot them to collect them.
I went ahead and found some huts around with no living souls around and I noticed that bridge was hardly blocked that I couldn't release right away.
I moved to the other side and I found the route ahead was also blocked, by some poisons and you can see the right side of that bridge is dark when the left side is colorful.
Then I was going below to another side and I noticed the barrier at the entrance of a bridge there so I didn't go there first. I moved to the other side and found the whole river poisoned.
Then I reached the barrier of the bridge that I couldn't open but I was surprised to see that I could get to the other side by jumping from the side space. I need to try this with other barriers, lol.
I went to the other side of the barrier but I couldn't continue moving as there was only poisoned river ahead so I just stopped there and eyed on the lands ahead as I'll visit those parts one day.
I was done exploring that area where I found some crystals, didn't find any rots sadly. So I started moving towards the other side to see if I find the woodsmith's spirit or not.
