Hello and Welcome back to my blog!
I shared a post on Tea Fields from one of the maps in theHunter: Call of the Wild. Today, I will continue the series and go towards the other side of the map. I am playing in the Emerald Coast, Australia and on the eastern side of the map, there is a big coastline filled with aggressive Saltwater Crocodiles and Bantengs.
But before going there I continued to hunt in the Tea Field. There were a lot of Foxes in this region.
I hunted four foxes here in quick succession. There were a lot of them travelling through the tea fields. Some were just resting under trees. I made them rest for eternity xD.
After these easy encounters, I went towards the coastline. The vegetation here was much more sparse but it still had signs of foxes.
I found a point of interest item on the map. It was just a temporary campsite on the base of a mountain. It is called Mount Matron, a huge volcanic mountain in the region. It doesn't look too pleasing to the eyes and I couldn't find any way to climb on it.
Moving forward, we reached the coastline and the signs of Ccrocodileswere visible on the beaches. It was a beautiful day for some croc hunting (or getting hunted whichever comes first).
Many of them were lying on the hot sand, trying to relax. There are two ways to approach them, one is to slowly sneak up on them and take them out without them noticing you first. There is a good chance of success in this approach and you get to have a shot at getting multiple animals. The other approach is to just be loud and make them aggressive so they come to attack you. It is a bit risky and not all will try to defend their position, many will just retreat to the ocean and stay underwater making you miss your hunts.
I chose the first approach a lot of times. I had a silent bow as well which can penetrate deep when shot from close distances. I took both of them down by showing good patience.
They tried to retreat to the water after getting shot but the arrows were deadly enough and they had no shot of surviving. Look at how they float in the water after dying.
Let me know which shot you liked better, the one with the ocean and clouds as the backdrop or the trees. I kinda like the second one. Love those clouds!
I hunted some more Crocodiles here, thankfully no one tried to eat me alive. They sometimes jump out of the water to attack you.
I took a lot more pictures of these beaches. At one point, I saw two trees that had almost a similar bend on the trunk and they were kind of looking at each other lol. Don't you think?
Me and Sheru had fun hunting these predators and defeating them in their own territory. But like every other time, Sheru looks utterly confused. He still has to learn how to pose for the camera.
That's it for this session, it was a fairly easy one where I mostly hunted the animals that love to hunt. How ironic...right? I didn't get the diamond trophy again but I was close this time around and there were multiple Golds. Maybe next time I will be lucky? It was a bright sunny day for hunting and taking some good pictures.
