Hello and Welcome back to my blog!
This Week's Contest theme by the Gaming Photography Community is Your Best Picks. I have been taking a lot of shots from some of the games with amazing graphics. I will show you what I think are some good ones.
Let me start with a few shots from the amazing universe of No Man's Sky.
There are a lot of planets and star systems in this game. Each has its own unique bit to them. I love the ringed planets and if you add those floating bubbles on the surface with some glowing plants and nice terrain. You have a perfect picture. I wanted to do something unique to my character so I floated him up into the sky and let him come down and he started to free fall. He makes this animation when it does that which looks like he is stumbling and that was it.
I loved the final result not just because it was so beautiful and a bit rare but because I had to figure out everything from the framing, lightning and the overall composition of the shot. (I wish I had a better GPU so I could render it in high and ultra graphics)
I didn't want to stop at just one shot that day, so I took some more. There were some butterflies, like insects, flying around, and here is what they looked like.
There are many other shots that are my favourites from this game. One of them I used to make a banner for my posts, too.
Just don't ask me how I just that high. It was a glitch when I stood under a starship which was about to land and the game yeeted me to space. I had to use this golden opportunity to get this shot. I love this so much!
Let's move on to another game with incredible graphics and an open world. If you are following my posts you know this game very well. theHunter: Call of the Wild offers a lot of beautiful landscapes.
In one of the maps, Cautro Colinas, you find a lot of fields of flowers like Lavender and Sunflower.
While this map is well-saturated and colourful, you can't say the same for Vurhongha Savannah. There are a lot of arid plains here which have their own sense of beauty and make it quite unique from the other maps.
There is hardly any rain on this map but when it is time and the sun is close to the horizon, you will experience one of the most dramatic skies here.
Let's go to forested hills from these dry plains. Clouds here are more of an everyday occurrence. Look at how one of the peaks is peeking through the blanket of thick clouds. So majestic and powerful.
I love the next shot for a very specific reason. See it first and then I will tell you why.
On first look, it looks okay, nothing groundbreaking to some. But when you look closely, the sun is right in the middle of the hunting stand casting those shadows which act like leading lines to our subject (hunting stand). Everything was near perfect for this composition. Love the foggy background with mountains.
The next shot is from Emerald Coast, Australia. This map is heaven for hunters and offers a lot of animals to hunt. The landscape is quite enchanting too.
I love the colours and composition in the one too. If there was a deer drinking water from that lake it would be perfect. But even without it, the sky and the sunlight on top of the trees in the back row make it quite interesting.
Let's go to a night shot. I love the next shot not because it is so gorgeous but because it reminds me of a nice session I had with @bemier. You can see her and her dog watching the moon. I was a bit far off the coast and had to zoom in. I didn't think it would turn out to be this good.
And now, I will take you back to the sunrise. This next shot encapsulates the stunning landscapes and graphics this game has. This shot is from the Layton Lakes Reserve which you get with the base game. Not like it is a DLC map too.
There are a lot of other shots that I love from this game but I have shared a lot of them already here. That's all for now. I hope you like them as much as I do. Let me know which one you liked the most.
Thanks for reading.
