Hello and Welcome back to my blog!
I played theHunter: Call of the Wild after a while... just wanted to complete the backlog of missions from the Emerald Coast map. But just like every other session, I got distracted with the flora and fauna. Hunted a lot of Deer and took many pictures. One of the missions involved me going to a new uncharted place and I decided to walk instead of taking the ATV.
It proved to be effective almost immediately as I saw two male Axis deer along with some females. Long story short I used the bow to take down both of them. It wasn't easy or quick but an effective way to get two animals from the same group.
Both had almost identical-looking antlers. One of them was even a Gold too. But my hunt for finding a diamond Axis deer continues...
It was beautiful weather to stroll around and hunt in this reserve while going towards the new location. There is no doubt that this game knows how to make the terrain look beautiful.
Even though the sky was clean with little to no clouds at the start of the session. They came at a quick pace and there were some occasional showers too. It doesn't rain a lot in this game but it comes with its advantage. The ground becomes damp and you make less noise than usual when it rains.
By the time I reached the Tea fields, which was the location I wanted to go. It became very gloomy and the clouds covered the whole sky.
There were some contrasting colored pipes here which drew my attention immediately. I liked this next shot a lot. If the lights were a bit brighter it would pop those colors even more.
Just next to this Tea farm, there was an old abandoned Farm. It didn't have many things inside, that's why I said, it looked abandoned. At least that was a Tractor there.

I love to take shots like this, an old rusty building right in the middle of a forest. The lights were starting to improve too. Our sun was still fighting a tough battle against the clouds but these were the first signs of a possible victory.
Just close to this place was a big open field with more Tea plantations. By the time I reached there, the clouds were almost defeated as the victorious sun shone with pride.

I was right about the lights, now these fields were looking twice as good as before.
Going to the nearest lake proved to be a bad plan and I found no animals drinking there. I grew impatient and messed up a couple of shots in the meantime. Made a couple of Kangaroos scared and the gunshot made the foxes run away too.
It looked like today was time to kill all the Axis deer only. Another male was busy grazing and not paying attention. This time I was more patient and went close to about 150 meters before taking the shot. I hit an almost perfect shot, aiming right at the heart.
Look at how Sheru looks at this one. He was just a Silver one. Their white spots remind me of Fallow deer but Fallow's have completely different antlers.
I caught Sheru asking me something. It looked like he was done with me for now. So, this was a good point to end the session. I did a mission of shooting down a Kangaroo within 25 meters distance. That's one of the objectives of Kangaroo Management. But there are many more to be done still.

With the photos you uploaded the other day and today, it looks beautiful nature in the game, it is impressive that a hunting game has these great graphics.
