At this point I think I'm basically done with the Final Fantasy 7: Remake. After closing the game down a little over a week ago I haven't felt any need or want to go back and play it again. I made it to chapter 14 and apparently there's 18 chapters total in the game. It's close to the end but when I'm not having fun there's no point.
Visually stunning
The game might be lacking in some departments but definitely not in its visual design. The environments and great and the character design is top notch. When extracting images from my PS5 for my recent post on Bloodborne I decided to sift through the images from the Final Fantasy 7: Remake that I snapped. I noticed I had an abundance of character portraits and pretty good ones at that. It would be a shame not to share them.
The photo mode in the Final Fantasy 7: Remake isn't fantastic or anything but it does give me the ability to pause during cutscenes to take photos using the photo mode while doing a few adjustments. Turns out I did that a lot more than I thought I did, judging by the 429 photos I apparently took while playing the game.
I've sorted through them and picked out my favorite character portraits of my favorite characters. Since that folder ended up with over 30 images I decided to start by showing off my portraits of Cloud and Aerith in this post. The rest will be coming around at a later time.
Cloud
Seeing Cloud should be no surprise. He's the main character afterall and one of the most iconic male video game characters. His design is naturally photogenic so getting good portraits of him was rather easy.
Aerith
Probably my favorite character to take photographs of in this game. Her face is really animated and has a lot of character to it. The character development between her and Cloud is also quite interesting which is why I decided to put them together in this post.
That's roughly half of my favorite character portraits from this game. In the next post I'll be focusing on the characters from Avalanche and some other characters we meet during the story. Stay tuned.

ow long is each chapter approximately? I've seen very few gameplays of this game, since before I thought it's a game that I won't enjoy added to what you said in the last posts, most likely I will never play it.
