Scrooger plays Red Dead Redemption 2 - A muddy brawl - #5

in Gaming Photography11 months ago

The year is 2024 and Scrooger has decided that he is working way too much... So he is taking some time for himself now and then. How? Well, he used to love games when he was growing up. A simple way to escape reality for a few mere moments. Thus, he will be posting about his little adventures from time to time. The game in question is Red Dead Redemption 2.

The game loaded me close to this area which seemed a little suspicious, but I investigated nonetheless. I found some dinosaur bones below, how cool!

I headed out to my next adventure!

I stumbled upon this random Mexican that wanted to test my marksmanship. He suggested we shoot some targets and the first one to shoot 4 will be the victor. Easy money! I won the shootout easily. Then he went for a double-or-nothing second round. This time we had to shoot birds... That proved to be pretty difficult.

In the end, he bested me and I had to pay up. I am down 10 bucks... Darn.

I was going to sell my bear pelt when I ran into this lady in distress, seemed like her horse died and landed on her.

I saved her!

She wanted a ride home, but I couldn't carry her and my precious bear pelt. So I decided to leave her be. She will be fine. My pelt is worth a lot as it is a legendary pelt and I nearly died getting it.

After selling my pelt I could craft a special hat, a bear hat! Now I am a total badass!

On my way to a new mission, I stumbled upon this scene... What do you think? Did this guy murder these folks to rob them? Looks like he is just looting their bodies. I took care of him with my trusty shotgun. Scum!

Next, I found this abandoned building full of dead bodies, weird as hell. Perhaps it was some kind of cult.

Weird how everyone is dead... I believe this is the reason why.... Spooky.

I found another lady in distress so I decided to give here a ride.

After dropping her off I headed to my next mission. I am getting sidetracked way too much. Riding around in the dark is kinda scary.

I found this random outpost of buildings but was already freaked out by the dead bodies from before and the dark so I decided not to investigate, perhaps I will have a look again when the sun is up.

I finally arrived at my destination for my new mission! The saloon late at night still had plenty of light and noise coming from it.

My friend introduced me to some of the ladies he had been chatting up, but I had no interest in them.

Before I knew it a fight broke out! No worries though, I had my bear hat on and nobody would fight me while I looked this badass... Wrong I was...

After a brawl in the saloon, they threw me out of the window and into the rainy weather.

The biggest guy seemed to have it in for me so I had to fight him off. No easy task at all as he was almost twice my size.

I eventually beat him up after a long and muddy fist-throwing.

The townsfolk stopped the fight before it could get out of hand... I stopped, I won. I was a muddy mess.

Someone showed up who knew us well. He was looking for us, telling us our friend was left behind and we needed to rescue him.

I looked like a piece of crap so I was in no condition to handle this certain situation.

After a quick shower in this barrel, I felt way better and headed back to camp. I am tired and beaten. I need a rest.

Arriving at camp you could see how tired I looked. I need a nap, some rest, and time to heal up.

The next day will be full of adventure to go find our lost friend.

Scrooger signing off, this was not the most entertaining mission but I had fun beating up the folks in the saloon. New information and a new objective gave me hope for a new adventure.

Sort:

So you couldn't keep up with the Mexican shooter which tells me you should hone your shooting skill but the muddy brawl sounds great where you took some nice photos. I've seen and lived these moments myself.

We look forward to see more of your special gaming moments.

Shooting those birds we tough, they are a blip in the sky and they keep moving. Much easier to score a headshot on an enemy. =P
