We wake up in the hospital of the fireflies and we meet the person who hired us for the work of the transfer of the girl and they tell us that they are already preparing her for the operation Joel asks what they will do to the girl and the answer they give us is that the girl will have to die in order to find the cure for this infection.

Even I was annoyed by the answer and Joel acted the same way I was thinking, We don't accept that this is the end and we complain to these people but they don't want to listen anymore and threaten to kill us if we don't leave this place.

I love the character of Joel despite being passive does not hesitate to use force and aggressiveness to defend himself and take control over a situation, we break the guard's face and threaten him that we will kill him if he does not give us the location of the room where the girl will be operated, he refuses and we shoot him in the head ending his life.

The alarms go off in the hospital and all the guards are after us to end our lives. Every time I advanced I encountered more guards and I had to eliminate them little by little with stealth as I could not face them all with gunshots since I did not have so much ammunition.

I arrived at the operating room and they were about to take the girl's life, there is a detail that I don't know if it's done that way in the game or not. And is that when the doctor asks us to stop because this is the only option to find the cure he does not attack us even if we are walking towards him but I just in case I shot him hahaha, I was left with the doubt that if I could get closer to take the girl he would attack me.

I had to run to get away from the guards, luckily they didn't shoot because I had the girl, but if I was careless and let them get close, they could attack me and take her away.

In the parking lot we meet the leader of the fireflies and she tries to convince us that we have to leave the girl that her sacrifice would bring the cure for all the madness that is happening but Joel is in denial and we end up shooting her because if we leave her alive it would be worse for us in the future.

We escape in a car and the game takes a while to show us that we are in a forest on our way to a city to live a quiet life as Joel had proposed to the girl.

For a moment the girl stops us and asks her if there were really more children who were immune to the infection and that she was not really necessary since they were working on the cure, we know that this is a lie but she does not know Joel ends up convincing her by telling her that it is true and that she will stay calm.

Conclusión

Without a doubt Joel acted in a selfish way but in the end I understand him he doesn't want the girl to lose her life that way without having lived her own life first it doesn't seem fair to him that this should happen and that in the end everything they have lived through he already sees the girl as if she were his own daughter.

I loved the game, I don't regret getting it, I loved the story, the character development that I liked the most was that of Ellie, from being an immature girl, she developed a very mature character and way of thinking, without a doubt, what I liked the most about this game.

I really liked the variety of enemies and even more to see that we were not really on the side of any of them, neither the infected nor the humans.

If you have the opportunity to get this game I recommend it to you, it is worth it.

What I take away most from this game is that The worst enemy of humanity is ourselves.

Wow what a shocking moment, and to think that taking the girl to the fireflies would end the infection, but at the cost of her own life, what a powerful moment that was.

Yes, it was a hard decision, abandoning humanity for the life of the child was not an easy decision.

Thank you very much

Thank you for your support

What an incredible ending, yes I knew that the ending of this title was something strong but not so much to the point of literally saying “may humanity die the girl lives” hahaha. as you say it may be something selfish but in the end something that without a doubt is also very brave on Joel's part.

Yes, it was a very difficult decision for Joel to make, but deep down I understand. The end of this game was very intense and I had a great time with the whole game. Thanks so much for coming by and checking out my post my friend.
