Rapids Network - October 2021 Review

Rapids

Hello everyone!

Welcome to another Rapids Network Activity Review. October heralds the end of the year, but more importantly the last quarter of the year.

During the month of October, there were some big changes in the Rapids Core Team. Corey Strong, founder of Rapids, announced his departure from the Rapids Management, without leaving the Core Team, leaving the place to Matt, who decided to take over the development of all the main projects in progress.

You can find more information in this article.

Raptic

To get back on the bandwagon, it is necessary to become familiar with :

  • Raptic. The brand new TipBot developed by Rapids. It's much more stable, and packed with new features.
  • The bridge to exchange your Rapids (RPD) to Wrapped Rapids (BRPD) and use them on all Binance Smart Chain dApps, and vice versa as well, you can exchange your BRPD to RPD as easily.

For the record, every Friday in November, Rapids will be holding BRPD Airdrop. To take advantage of this, you just need to be a Liquidity Provider (LP).

In this article, you will find the information you need to become a Wrapped Rapids (BRPD) Liquidity Provider (LP).

A series of updates have been announced, and these projects are the priority of the Core Team:

  • NFT development
  • Development of dApps
  • Work and development of RPDx
  • As well as everything related to Staking, Blockchain Validators and Masternodes.

Rapids Halloween

October is also the month of Halloween, of scary stories, of candy hunting. The day (or night) when people gather with their families. For this occasion, Rapids also decided to gather its large community around the world, to entertain them, make them participate in games and reward them.

The most fun one was 'The Short Scary Story', here is the one that caught our attention.

"🎃 The Old Man and the Apple Pie 🎃
On Halloween night, an old man from New Jersey was found dead in the kitchen of his home. He lived alone with his wife. The man was not of an easy nature and he cursed children.
On the morning of October 31, the old man had painstakingly inserted razor blades into apples that he planned to distribute to children that evening.
His wife, who strongly objected to her cranky husband's criminal actions, decided to stop the old man's planned massacre. She made him his favorite pie and invited him to eat a piece of it for dessert, just before the children came knocking at the door.
The man, who like a pig took huge bites of everything he ingested, asked his wife just before swallowing:
"But where did you get the apples to make the pie, I had taken them all this morning?"
It was while swallowing that he got the answer to his question as he slit his throat from the inside…"

Thank you to everyone who responded and participated.

And to finish the month, we were pleased to announce that over 400 RPD Masternodes are hosted on Rapids.Host. When can you host your own? and earn 60% of the Rewards Blocks. If you can't host your own Rapids Masternode yet, you can always use Rapids.Host to Stake your Rapids (RPD) and earn a (recurring) passive income.

RPD Masternodes

Hey, I hope you've managed to find some interesting authors. I can see you've been posting a lot, but it's a shame you haven't found more followers than 11.

But I'm just reaching out to you as I've been delegating for you and it seems that you do quite decently even without my delegation, so I'll be taking it back. :)

If I can help you in another way, just let me know and I'll try to give the best advice and support I can.

Good evening, thank you for your message, like you I also find it strange to have so few followers, I do not know why

Maybe my posts don't interest anyone, or I have to follow 100k accounts to get 1k in return ... hahaha

Well that's the thing, maybe there's too much crypto content so people would end up finding you :D

What saved me back in the past was networking. Finding other people and their posts, interacting with them etc. but those were different times too. But who knows. If we knew a magic trick to success, everyone would be successful. Kind of.

I have a very busy day
I work primarily for Rapids Network (I don't do blogging to make money)

Thanks for the advice
