It would be fair to say that migration and cultural diversity are two events that have really influenced the world a lot. It's awesome how they have shaped human history, and up to this moment, they are still transforming the world even in the least expected ways. Throughout history, migration has played a significant role in shaping the cultural, social, and economic landscape of many countries.
It all started in ancient times, and the cultural diversity we are celebrating—enjoying today wouldn't have existed without our forefathers embracing the idea of migration. I strongly believe that even civilization wouldn't have bloomed like it did without our ancestors migrating back then, they learned and shared knowledge through those trips, and here we are today.
Today, people moving from one place to another, driven by various factors, has taken a new height with the help of technology because people can now move across the world easily as long as they have the permission to do so. We have been able to access places our forefathers couldn't, and the relationship between people and tribes keeps getting stronger.
However, there have been so many challenges and tensions surrounding migration in recent years. The high rate at which people are migrating has raised so much concern across the world because it has caused issues like insecurity, economic competition, and even cultural identity in different parts of the world. Over the years, we have seen these concerns be taken advantage of, resulting in xenophobia, racism, and others.
Citizens of different countries aren't feeling good with the high influx of people into their country, which is very understandable due to the negative influence of some migrants. Some time ago, I saw a video of a two-gang fight that happened in Dubai, and it was very messy. Some Dubai citizens were affected and it caused the government the take it up against the Culprit's country, restricting them from coming over for a while. As much as the government would love immigrants, it would never be at the expense of the citizens well-being.
Aside from the negative influence, the amenities and resources available in some regions aren't even enough for the citizens, not to speak of having migrants move in huge numbers.
Despite all the challenges surrounding migration, cultural diversity happens to be one of the most significant benefits. The interaction between different people from different cultures has led to the birth of so many things, including art, literature, music, and even cuisine. We have experienced an exchange of ideas, knowledge, and values, which has enriched our understanding of the world.
As much as the world will benefit from people migrating from one place to another, I foresee a future where so many restrictions will be placed on migration just like we are experiencing in some parts of the world already.
For migrants, we have to be considerate in whatever we are doing. No illegal migrations, and we must stick to rules, influencing our new environment positively. We must have great contributions and not become a burden on the people and the society at large.
Finally, I will urge the government and citizens of different countries to accommodate and tolerate migrants the best way they can. Seeing migrants as unworthy humans living in your country makes zero sense; I prefer you not allowing them in than treating them badly.
It's high time we put an end to this discrimination and racism circulating the world. Regardless of your color or tribe, we must understand that we are one human, and we need each other to grow in different ramifications of life.

Frankly speaking, migration and cultural diversity has changed so many things and people from one continent to another.
In Nigeria today, some of our brothers are married to so many Oyibo ladies thereby creating intentional mixed breeds, I think I love it.😂
